In the US the places Ive seen the most femuscle is Florida, Vegas, Los Angeles.. didnt see much in NY as those other 3 but again, I was just being touristy :)

LA, Vegas, and FL are definitely the places to see bodybuilders in the US - but every US metro area has at least a few gyms where you will see muscular women on PEDs. I can think of at least three in my (top 20 population) metro area where I could go to see really muscular women and there are probably 3-5 more that I haven't been to but probably would have them.

Gail Kim in Royal Kill (2009) more action based but she is the killer. Trish Stratus in Bail Enforcers (2011) . She fights a Korean, also more action based. Atleast these exist. But feel sooooo free to delete my comment.

In Latin America (I live in Panama) it's become really popular and everyday there are more and more, this started with the crossfit craze around 5-7 years ago

Hummm. Perhaps we're looking for a lady more lethal. Maybe a La Femme Nikita? A true assassin. We will of course have to recast the part with a woman with some more muscle though. Any ideas? čĄö

slasher bad girl on that show...čĄö

Not a slasher, but there was the evil super powerful Glory...

Although she doesn't have the build ~ that was the idea behind the Buffy character. They created her in response to the stereotypical girl victim. I.E.The girl that screams and runs away. Buffy don't play that. I am trying to think if there was ever a slasher bad girl on that show...čĄö

Old Italian horror movie Nightmare city from 1980. There is a scene in which zombies are attacking a television studio, which is recording aerobics classes.

My old dream, a movie with a similar scene but zombies are attacking a female bodybuilding / crossfit show. And what's more, the girls win the zombies. A horde of living dead / mutants / monsters from outer space rush in, but using hammers, barbell and of course their enormous strength, women defeat them. Solid fan service, of course.

In general, I am surprised by the perfect and emphasized inability of the victims in most horror / slashers to resist the threat. Neither physically nor psychologically. If the victim shows resistance, it is usually either a psychopath or a "deeply traumatized person who has experienced a nightmare."

Let the idea "a maniac attacks a woman and is defeated by the power of 12+ inch biceps", fetishistic and fanservice, but it is orders of magnitude better than "it is impossible to resist at all" and "only a person who has gone through hell can resist"

čśą And I barely remember Space 1999. All I know is Drusilla's arms looked so good you couldn't help but notice them. Even on a ten inch tv screen.

Yep, you bet. She was Martin's daughter. :)

Her dad passed away just a few years ago. May he rest in peace.

Well, that's simple. It's just a competition like the Super Bowl, World Cup, Stanley Cup, or Indy 500, no more or less.

If the players involved promise to lead to something exciting, I'm all for it. If not, I focus my attention elsewhere.

Here's a question to add to the thread, what does Ms Olympia mean to you?

5 hours ago - context

Are you serious? She was Martin Landau's daughter? Duh. I never put that together. Lol. There of course is a photo of her on the site. Drusilla was a horrible evil girl. Very hot.

Personally, I can't say either way, but I do think her facial features (not her body, mind you) might've turned people off to FBB. And yes, some folks may have grown tired of her continued reign as Ms. Olympia, thinking someone else should've won the title long before her 10th win.

I hope its ok for me to post on a few month old post but in the 2000s there was a website called legtown that i visited there was also something called lethal leg goddess.

I remember her. Daughter of actor Martin Landau. She was pretty hot. :)

No. Yes. There are a loaded bar of reasons, but come on, Iris went away, came back with the best body, went away, came back... and repeat.

6 hours ago - context

I wrote a tweet sometime ago about how crazy it is that Alina Popa never won an Olympia, and some followers mentioned Iris Kyle in a less favorable way. One even suggested that perhaps it was her look that made women's bodybuilding die out for awhile. I do remember the likes of Lenda Murray criticizing how far Iris Kyle went, and, to be fair, I don't hear many female bodybuilders point to Iris Kyle as an influence. You'd sooner hear Lenda and Cory Everson mentioned before her.

So what do you think? While I'm sure the actual reasons are much more complicated, do you think Iris Kyle and her 10 Olympia-rule is one of them?
