I saw a clip from episode one and it looks still uncanny valley for me, pretty rough

I watched the pilot and tapped out. Muscles aside, too many things frustrate me about She-Hulk's character. From the looks of some clips, the CGI hasn't gotten better.

They are probably going to save all the action (fingers crossed) towards the end of the series. Would definitely agree so far, episode 1 was good. 2 and 3 were not good. The legal stuff felt a bit flat. Am still curious tho for what's going to happen next.

Liked the first 2 eps. Third one was pretty shitty. It has little to no action but that's not a big deal. Problem comes in when the court room scenes are coming off as bland as well. So really the "day in the life" as She-Hulk stuff is the most interesting but not enough to carry the show. The comedy didn't land at all. Certain characters who were tolerable in the beginning are entering into "get the fuck off my tv screen" phase. And the CGI was quite bad. I started to have flashbacks of Superman's upper lip. Episode 4 has got a lot of redeeming to do.

I was happy with her twerking after the credits and a close up of her ass sooo.

The CGI muscle is really disappointing and shows that Disney still doesn't think that audiences are ready for a muscular female superhero. This was as about as good an opportunity as they were gonna get, she's a HULK for crying out loud! She's supposed to look absolutely ripped but in the show she just ends up looking like a 2:1 scale yoga instructor.

She hulk has often had this look in the comics but recent art has her either harder, larger, or a combo of both.

I need to watch it simply because most law-focused shows are serious in tone. And a lot of the stuff I’ve seen from the show is pretty goofy (not in court).

The Megan thee stallion office scene strikes me as something like they want to get her to do something to get frowned upon and then say “why are you suppressing my personality” but the reality is that most serious work places you won’t see someone wilin out like that in a fishbowl office.

My need is to want to take her seriously as a sharp lawyer who is also a regular person aside from the law who now has this additional burden.

As someone who has read nearly every solo appearance the character has had in comics from 1980 to now, the third episode felt like something Marvel writer Dan Slott would have done during his time on the book 20 years ago.

I still don't get how this version of Titania is meant to be a threat at all.

I have my complaints but I remember the treatment the comic book genre got in the distant past (you old folks know what I'm talking about). She's not the Jen Walters I loved (the one that got jacked and trained in boxing relentlessly in human form to she could crush The Champion in a one on one fight), but I'm enjoying it. It's good old dumb fun.

Y'all, Just watched episode 4 and i realised one reason why the animation looks so sketch (outside from how stiff her movements seem) - She doesn't have any veins at all! (not sure how much animators know about bodyfat percentage but this looks like it might be an aesthetic decision from somebody ignorant).

Outside of that, ep 4 was kind of ok (the 'dating in your 30s' line hit hard).

After watching four episodes I feel like the creators are doing a fairly good job for what they're aiming for, but it just not be a tone I'm into that much. I would give it an 8/10 for effort and design and execution. For personal preference and enjoyment I would say a 6-7/10. I think for something with this kind of comedic tone and with the fourth wall breaking I would have enjoyed more of an ensemble effort like in The Office.

As far as the She-Hulk CGI goes I think the show is just a tad too ambitious for where CGI is right now, especially for the budget and time allocated for a TV show. I mean, when the character is basically supposed to look like a human except tall and green that is VERY hard to do without the uncanny valley. Millions of years of evolution makes us really good at catching anything "off" in our fellow humans. I do think we're almost there in terms of technology, but not quite.

Usually I would categorize something as “good” if I can give it an 8+ in both execution and entertainment value.

Generally phase 4 marvel stuff has been pretty middling on both ends. I’m not surprised to see most people find the show average. The only people that are gobbling the show up are shills and people who like calling detractors “misogynist” while ignoring the fact that there hasn’t been an excellent Marvel production since Endgame.

The muscles in Love and Thunder were enhanced with CGI. It’s a shame, though, because Thompson and Hemsworth still looked ripped regardless.

maybe portmans, yeah...

I hoped that cgi was now advanced enough to give her decent looking fake muscles but it seems like nothing has improved since the early 2000s even some morhpers can do a better job.

This would be hilarious - especially for some of the fragile bros on here - but I'm pretty sure it's a very tall woman who plays her:

Ep. 4 was definitely a step up from the previous episode. So far the show is pretty good but not must-see. It feels like fluff. Like if nobody were watching it wouldn't matter in the grand scheme of things in the MCU.

I'm neither and I thought Shang-Chi, No Way Home, Dr Strange 2, Loki, & Wandavision were all great.

I would say NWH and WV were great, Loki at like a 1b to their 1a, and Shang CHi a strong 2. past that it's kind of a mismash. I think a mediocre Strange 2 script was elevated by Raimi. Eternals was not good. Moon Knight was meh, and i never finished Falcon and stilll have yet to check out the newest two shows.

but you're right, does feel like a lot of fluff, but i feel like for the purpose of introduction they would be trying o tbe a little better with their characters.

Tatiana Maslany showed some slim but cut arms in "Orphan Black". She played about 15 different clones and a couple of them were portrayed as physically strong. It was impossible not to notice her arms when she was in those roles.
