First the good news. By now, most of you have seen Cameron's "Top Gear" flex on "youtube" and/or pics from the TV show. I remember telling you all about it when I first saw that vid in the beginning of 2011. What a treat!!!  Anyhow, so much for the good news. Now you better sit down and get hold of a cold compress. You're gonna need it!!!

In the movie "Bad Teacher" Cameron Diaz says to somebody: "I'm stronger than I look..." and then FLEXES her muscle!!! Trouble is, the camera man does NOT show us the FLEX !!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT ????????? They should give that camera guy a DETENTION !!! I can't remember being this frustrated watching a movie since Pussy Galore flipped James Bond in "Goldfinger" but never showed him her muscles!!!

Ironically, "Bad Teacher" is still a pretty good flick, and I can think of worse things than staring at Cameron Diaz. Too bad nobody on this site was the camera man, eh?  ;D

I've now put in a feature that lets you disable the ads on the site.

Please read the text on the page before disabling them:

I think this is caused by a rogue ad. They're not supposed to redirect you, but I guess one might be doing that to you.

It would be extremely helpful if you could determine which ad is doing this, and give me its source URL. That way I could get it disabled for everyone and that would ensure that no one else has this problem.

But if you don't feel like doing that, you can disable the ads by going here:

This site appears to be hacked by a movie/ gaming page. If you open multiple tabs, they are overridden by this annoying site, bog down the browser, and eventually I have to bail. I may have to leave the page if it continues. Sorry man, cuz I love the site. skeez

B)  I would agree with that IF the pics I uploaded didn't fail so miserably to get the requisite member votes, TWICE.

C and D) I think this may be why the exact same pics as mine got by the member moderation queue when they where uploaded by someone else.  The other member did have a very high upload number.

Now that this was explained to me, I admit my criticism that it's UNFAIR favoritism may have been a bit strong.

I'll just have to keep uploading good, legal content and then hopefully I can get to earn similar respect.  ;D

@Xenolith There are several explanations (besides "unfair favouritism") which could explain what you've noticed

A) When uploading images, one can choose to upload them to the voting queue or the mod queue, which is only viewable by mods.  This explains why you might not see every image that makes the main site.

B) The voting queue is fickle, just because you uploaded a pic which did not receive the requisite votes and then another person re uploads it and it does pass does not mean that you are being discriminated against; it could be a different section of the population voting or people could have just changed their minds.

C) A few specific members who have proven themselves to be excellent uploaders (and all mods) do have the ability to bypass the moderation queue.  While you might call this favouritism, I would not call it unfair, as those members have earned the privilege with their continued and consistent contributions to the website.

D) Moderators have the ability to approve (and delete) images from the voting queue (in other words, bypassing the voting process).  A small percentage of the pics in the voting queue get approved this way.

I can't help but think there is something fishy going on about the main site.

I've uploaded some pictures (sometimes twice) and they get roundly rejected by members by not even getting more than 50% yes votes.   Then only to have the exact same picture (or very similar picture) soon show up on the main site that was uploaded by another member.  I vote (aka. moderate) quite regularly (almost every day) and I don't even see these pictures I'm talking about listed in the que by the other member, so I think they're probably getting some kind of fast-track approval by the main site moderators.

If that's the case, it smacks of unfair favoritism that will do nothing but discourage participation from its members, IMO.

I don't believe BMI is important here. And I don't find important measuring only the bicep muscle. When you measure your biceps you are also measuring your tricep wich is not flexed and is completely relaxed. You would have to take many things in account to measure a muscle.

I can second that. The popups and redirects to Crackle are only happening on GWM.

I'm getting the Crackle dot com forwarding also. And after temporarily disappearing for a little while, the  pop up ads are back with a vengeance, worse than they were before. Each click sometimes giving me three pop ups. I don't get these anywhere else.

GWM is completely unusable to me in Firefox now because I can't stay on any pages for more than a couple of seconds before I get redirected to crackle.com. And my browser is telling me it's preventing up to 6 pop-ups on each page just before I get redirected. Something is haywire. Have any of you found a cause and solution for this? I now have to use Safari, which I don't normally ever open, to view GWM.

Expressions when I see her: :o ??? (How's that possible) & :'(

"The last thing Melissa wrote me was how much she loved showing off her muscles... and hated wearing long sleeves"

We should keep her in mind in exactly that way and as she was: a fun-loving wonderful girl, a person who brightened up everybody's live ;)

If you search for name/description only, this won't happen because then it won't search the comments, which is where random names most often appear.

Because the woman's who section it is name gets mentioned in the different woman's comments. I assume they're at the end of the section because of priority.
Aug 18, 2011 - context
Why does almost evry individual woman's section have other women added at the end of the photos? seems at least the last 4 or 5 photos are a different lady.

I know it is often published how large someone's arms are...for example 17". Is this the true measurement of the actual muscle? My arms are 16.5 flexed but I have average sized biceps. The question is are my bicep muscles bigger than someone who has 14 inch arms? As I look through this site there seem to be plenty of photos that I would guess have bigger biceps than me. But I know their arms are less than 16.5 inches. So here is my thought and I guess question....... Would an accurate measurement of one's bicep be 1. Measure the bicep flex circumference 2. measure the wrist circumference. 3. Take BMI measurement of the bicep area.   Now subtract the wrist measurement from the bicep measurement. Subtract Bicep BMI from 100. Multiply x net bicep /wrist measurement???

Sorry I am not an engineer or mathematician so I am sure this could be better stated.....

Example:   17" bicep minus 10" inch wrist = 7"
100 minus Bicep BMI 25 would be .75
7 x .75 would be = 5.25 inch muscle which would indicate a more accurate size of the muscle...

Any thoughts?.....serious ones of course....... Any interest?
