Brooke Walker comes to mind, lately shes become such a lil beefcake, whatever shes doing I'm loving it
The physique girls have gotten huge. Andrea is right, it probably is time for more of them to move into bodybuilding (and get even bigger). One thing that's probably keeping a lot from making the leap is that their lower bodies haven't kept up with their upper bodies. Anne Mohn and Ivie have bodybuilder-sized upper bodies but their legs and glutes aren't there yet.
Even figure competitors (Ivana Ivusic, Sara Kinnvik ) are starting to get massive. It's great.
Laura is definitely big enough to do bodybuilding.
And speaking of Brooke Walker - can you imagine her on the same supplement regimen as Andrea and Margie? Hubba Hubba.
so many of them get to a peak and then feel they need to back it off. I get that. But why not shoot for Olympia for a couple years at least?? I think Brooke could win it all.
Right now the IFBB pro girls will tell you that to win you gotta train offseasons as if you are competing one category larger than you are. So already figure girls are lifting like physique competitors and so on. Then they cut cut cut and are left with that winning x frame. At least that's the way the sport is now
Side note- Electricave, you're all right ya know that?
Girls like Ivana Ivusic could easily take a year or two off from competing and build enough mass for bodybuilding. She's super beefy compared to figure competitors of yore.

Not even remotely true. Figure athletes are huge and make 80s FBB look like novices
Huh. I pretty much threw that sentence out there to prove a point, but looking at it beyond a surface level, you're absolutely right.
There are steroids in development that are 129x more powerful than testosterone. I wonder just how much further this mass creep will continue.

Wow. I cannot wait to see these women on them.

I kind of wonder just how far we can push athletic achievement and development. Kind of like how running a sub 4:00 mile was unheard of, and now you have elite runners running 4:40 miles in the marathon (26.2 miles!)
The steroids are getting more powerful, but how much will that affect the athletes who take them? When will the body cap out?

If you've watched this interview, you probably remember, at the very end, Andrea Shaw stating that physique competitors are way too big for the division and should move up to bodybuilding.
Just wondering what thoughts were about this. Are there physique competitors who should move up, should none of them move, or any other thoughts.
