the instagram is RIP

I contact girls who say they do coaching asking for coaching and they don't even answer.

It has become a place where people just go post whatever picture they want and then ignore any response they receive.

Really? I follow some girls, like a couple pictures and then they won't leave me alone about the fact they offer coaching.

I mean, does your account look like you're someone who actually is interested in fitness or getting in shape? Or does your account scream "schmoe" to every female bodybuilder who sees it?

my account has zero posts. I have zero interest in making my life public on instagram.

So we have the answer...

If your account has zero posts, no profile picture, and under your follows they see only female bodybuilders, they're gonna know right away. Unfortunately, fit and muscular women have to constantly deal with schmoes who inquire about "coaching" but in reality only want to use that as an excuse to chat with them.

When you ask for coaching, do you give any specifics? Do you give your baseline, your experience, your goals and your limitations? Do you specify wanting a prep program? General conditioning? Strength building? Hypertrophy for bodybuilding?

many people have their accounts private so the fitness model can't see them either. actually the only people I know who make every single post public is people trying to become influencers.

obviously first I would like to chat. be treated like a human being with respect and warmth. not like their cash machine. reminds me of onlyfans where before saying hello the girls ask for a tip or to sell a video.

Perhaps if they also have a website, then making a genuine enquiry on there might be a good first step.

Also why only focused on coaching from women?

I am not interested in coaching. I want to chat. why is this such a crazy concept? I thought instagram was a social network. I thought people went there to get to know other people. if they don't want to know other people, why are they even there? to show me their great abs and great trips? That's all?

Many of them have husbands, dude. They don't want to do small talk with strangers. Why this is a "crazy concept" for you?

So wait...

You contact women to ask for coaching but you don't actually want to be coached?

And you're surprised they don't answer you?

You want to be treated with "respect and warmth" (LOL) despite contacting them under false pretenses?

Schmoe behavior smh.

You also said in your opening post that you’re asking them about coaching, and now you’re stating you’re not interested in coaching?

This you?

Also, you literally said in your first post that you're asking for coaching, and now you're saying that you're not interested in coaching. Again, a fitness professional who makes her living off of something like training isn't going to be happy that you're trying to reach her under false pretenses.

Sure, social media is a place where you can connect with others, but it's also a place for people to market themselves, or to show stuff that they're into, or just look at stuff that interests them. And given that I guess you are messaging ladies with pretty large followings, they probably aren't interested in someone who is clearly using a burner account. You are not entitled to their attention, and you are especially not entitled to it when you're trying to reach them under false pretenses. If anything, that's a very shitty thing to do and says a lot about you (which you also showed during your last stint here, if you are who I referenced in the beginning of this post.)

I hate to pile on but really please try not to be a creep. It gives the rest of us a really bad vibe by association.

You want "coaching" but can't be bothered to share any personal information but demand that they open up to you all the same. Bro, trade in that van and touch grass.

I don't contact them for anything special. it just says there that they do 1:1 coaching so sometimes I say "hi i want to receive coaching" to see how they react. but they never answer. I'm not a sexual machine, I just want to have a casual talk like I could have with anybody in the street. like that guy on youtube who stops all the fit girls and starts asking them questions. why is that great and me saying hi to a girl considered a schmoe?

Well, if that's what you want, you could easily have a casual talk with anybody on the street, as you put it. Time is valuable. Clearly, your intention is to waste theirs for your own gratification; that's very inconsiderate of you. The least you could do is pay them for it.

so talking to another human being is wasting time? I'm just trying to create a connection between two human beings in a social networking app. this is what these apps are for. if you just post whatever the hell you do in your day and never interact with other people in the app you are just missing the point.

They probably get too many messages to reply to them all

Well, the key difference is that people choose to talk to him, yet they choose not to talk to you.

You admitted that you contact girls under false pretenses to chat with them. That's schmoe behavior. The other guy has a youtube channel and is making money. Perhaps that's the path you should pursue.

Who says that that guy on YouTube who stops fit women on the street and asks them questions is great? I think that guy is also an annoying prat and given that it's curated content, you don't see the women who turn him down. Hell, it may be possible that those ladies already worked out an agreement ahead of time to be on a video, and the "random" stop isn't actually random.

If you want to have a casual chat like you would in the street, then do that. Go to a place like a bar and chat with a random person or the bartender if you want. Or find a hobby like going to a game group so that you can meet and talk with people while playing Settlers of Catan or something. Why does it specifically have to be just muscular women? (that's a rhetorical question, by the way.) All they are going to see is just another burner account where they know nothing about you. You are not entitled to chat with anyone that doesn't want to chat with you, and you're not obligated to do the same with other people either. All they're going to see is just some other random schome sending presumably a low-effort message.

And again, because you are completely ignoring people who mention this (as you did with me asking if you are that one poster,) it is really, really poor practice to message a professional under the guise of wanting to use that professional's services when you have no intention of doing that. And it's a sad reality, but unfortunately women professionals deal with shit like that all the time.

because I like female bodybuilding so I want to connect with people who practice it. isn't it obvious? if I liked ballet I would try to contact people who do ballet.

so you can go to a shop and ask about a tv. that's totally fine.

you can go to a gym and ask/talk about training there. totally fine.

yet you talk to a girl who says she is a personal trainer about training and you are a schmoe, a pervert and you are wasting her time.

that's the stupidest thing I ever heard.
