In the past years, rather saying decades, I noticed a trend among the young fellows here in Austria.

Where we used to mingle with people from different cultures - it was cool to have a gf from the point furthest away back in the days - they all stick with their own blood nowadays. Slovanian girls only dating slovenian guys, turkish stick to themselves, latin american and so on. Also there is some sort of religious formation of groups, especially within the muslim cmmunity. Football players with migration background refuse to sing the Austrian anthmem.

Any other parts of the world experiencing this sort if retro trend ?

Its a very controversial subject but in most non western countries they still have hard core nationalism. and even if these guys move to other countries they still dont like foreigners. but a lot of people in western countries just ignore this and do damage control for these guys.

Yes, this development towards nationalism in my opinion is really a step back from a modern society which thrives from diversity.

It could be that western culture has, after years of mixing, finally realized that other more "exotic" cultures are not as good in long term and they're only interesting as a tourist attraction.

There has not been enough mixing in my eyes - it is the best and only way to peace, because in the end we are all human and seperated more by our leaders in politics and religion then by anything else.

It's good that there's separation between certain groups. A rotten apple spoils the barrel.

Quite the opposite, it's a step forward to saving the societies in the West. You need diversity in your gut flora, not in your society, as any History book can attest to.

People self-segregated and showed signs of in-group preference long before there was such a thing as politics, or even religion. This is not to say that you can't have friends from other cultures, that individuals are forbidden from marrying someone from another ethnicity, or that you should burn down your local Syrian convenience store, but no one can be that naive to believe there would be no reaction to the socially engineered mass migration and population replacement that has taken place in Western societies for the past decades.

Are there still people who think that population replacement is a myth? They must be living in some kind of an adamantium bubble, it's been going on for a long time now, but at least for 15 years it's been very apparent. Look at all the EU countries, Spain for example, is gonna legalize 500 000 undocumented immigrants, which is gonna make them stay there and dimminsh what little of society they have left. Minnesota has become a cesspit because of the forced immigration of Somalis there. Look around yourself a bit, it's all there and you don't even have to look hard for it.
