In my last post, I got one of the requests the wrong way round. It should have been:

There must be an effective parent of the tags: intensity, rage, grimace, straining, but I can't think of what that could be.
Child of european: estonian.
Children of oceanian: samoan, new zealander, australian.
Child of working out: hyperextensions.
Children of back: back traps, sweaty back, back double biceps, back reveal, back veins, open back, backless dress.
Child of form fitting clothing: quads through dress.
Children of quads through clothes: quads through pants, quads through dress.
Parents of calves through clothes: calves, form fitting clothing, calves through pants, calves through socks.
Parents of calves through socks: calves, long socks, form fitting clothing.
Parents of tube top: strapless, off the shoulders (merge with sleeveless?).
Parent of strapless: off the shoulders (merge with sleeveless?).

I disagree with this one. The way I interpret the tags, the "back" tag should be used on images in which the back muscles are visible.
Whereas the "back" in "back double biceps" (and also in "back biceps flex") doesn't refer to the body part, but instead describes the camera angle - both biceps being flexed, viewed from behind. (In the same way as the "front" in "front double biceps" refers to the camera angle/viewpoint.)
Personally, I would tag the images below as "back double biceps", but not as "back" because the back muscles are completely covered with clothing:
So IMO "back double biceps flex" image should not be a child of "back", because of rare exceptions like those three.
(And I know you didn't propose this one, but I'd apply the the same reasoning to "back biceps flex".)
This may have been discussed already / elsewhere, but shouldn't "selfie" be a parent of: "mirror selfie/recording", "selfie with a camera", and "mouth selfie" ?
It's true that "mirror selfie/recording" photos are a kind of "selfie", but personally I've been applying the two tags in different ways because I think it's helpful to distinguish the two types of photo in searches.
I only add the "selfie" tag if the model is pointing the camera directly at herself, so that the camera itself isn't visible, like this:
And "mirror selfie/recording" (or its child tag "mirror flex"), "selfie with a camera", and "mouth selfie" if they're pointing the camera at a mirror (even if if it's on a tripod instead of being held):
I've been doing it that way in order to help distinguish those two different types of selfie photos in searches.
However, maybe that's not necessary any more? Now that we have the ability to exclude tags from searches, we could make "selfie" a parent of "mirror selfie/recording" as you suggest, and if we want to find the "pointing the camera at herself" kind of selfie, we just search for "selfie" and exclude "mirror selfie/recording"?
This is getting a bit off topic, but while I'm on the subject, here are some other comments on how I tag reflection photos:
Even for mirror selfies, I don't always add the "mirror" and "model in reflection" tags. I only add "mirror" if the edge of the mirror is visible:
And I only add "model in reflection" if she's visible in some other mirror within the scene, in addition to the one the camera is pointing at:
Incidentally, both mirror selfies and "normal" selfies taken in an "infinite regress mirror" also end up with the "model in reflection" tag, because it's automatically applied as a child tag:

I have been tagging on the basis that a photo doesn’t belong under “model in reflection” if a camera is visible in the photo. (The tag “model in reflection” used to be somewhat clearer on that point when that tag was previously called “non-selfie mirror”.)
Can admins set up some sort of visualizer, tree, or list tool that shows the entire hierarchy for a given tag all at once? It is painstaking having to click through each relationship one at a time
Yes I think this is a good idea if possible. Much easier to see what is the relationship of various tags, and not mis-tag and waste the limited 10 slots. Not that most users would pay attention anyway but that's another discussion....
We need the Tag “Mirror” to be a child tag for “mirror selfie/recording”
No, we don't. Tags are not for implied things, like "air" or "walls".
The tag "mirror" is for when a mirror is visible in the photo as a prop that matters, meaning that the model is interacting with it or it is a part of the setting/atmosphere of the photo.

I see where you (and others) have added "mirror" a lot to images where a refection tag is already there. The tag is a mess and might as well get merged into "mirror selfie" unless it gets cleaned up.

Picking up from June 30 (only mentioning the ones where I did something different):
Children of climbing: rock climbing, indoor climbing
I turned "rock climbing" into "outdoor rock climbing" and made it a child of "climbing" and "outdoors".
Children of slide: water slide, playground slide
No, we don't need this level of specificity with non-muscle or workout tags. I merged these into "slide". I'm not convinced we even need "slide".
child of hairstyle: pixiecut
I did this, but wtf is "hairstyle"? It seems to have, as child tags, a bunch of different hairstyles (as I would expect based on the name) but this just makes it analogous to "woman has hair".
child of height difference: shorter than him
Also made this a child of "male body comparison"

Not sure about this, "nails" seems to be used for hands at the moment.

Not sure I agree with these. Obliques are next to the abs, and it's almost always the case that if obliques are visible then abs are too, but it's not 100% of the time. For instance here is an "obliques through clothes" that isn't "abs through clothes":

Not all 'jumping/leaping' is a backflip; quite a few images are ballet. The parent for "backflip" is "gymnastics," which is probably the correct situation.
Correct, it was inverted!
