My friend insist I’m gay

I remember very distinctly a lecture I got from my dad after it was clear my fetish was not centered on "boobs and butts", as my mom thought.

He told me that anyone that cares that much about how their body looks (any of the bodybuilders) is gay. I don't know how he formed that opinion, but I recently did a little reading and, not to make this political at all, but although bodybuilders seem to be conservative leaning these days, way back when it was seen as a more liberal thing to take on. Of course, yes there are homosexual bodybuilders now, and there were then.

The point being that he thought that if they were, and I cared that much about it or that I wanted to look like that, I might be too, or something like that. This falls into that thought that if you like muscular women you are gay because they look "masculine".

Anyway, it's a very silly line of thought, and as far as our attraction goes there is certainly a spectrum to what we consider "too much". Many people on this site thing Natalya is the second coming--I find her size and sheer amount of cosmetic work to be incredibly unattractive. But I'm not getting on anyone's case about it.

I've mentioned this prior in the thread but I think it's helpful to get it out there, but not all of it. My friends know I'm into buff girls, but they don't know the sites i've been to, nor that I write stories as part of my income. They see my interactions, maybe, on social media (it's far less intrusive as far as what your friends are doing than it used to be, tbh) but they don't see my Dm dealings where I buy flex videos, and they certainly don't see my video collection. I used to get those pretty acidic reactions in the past but as I got older people have seemed more accepting.

I posted this clip in another thread about 'Guilt' but it applies just as much here.

I think it's fair to say that as an ideological construct society as a whole believes 'Women don't look like that' and as a way to rationalise something that they don't understand they reinforce the social construct that men have muscles and women don't. Many will immediately jump to defend their own ideology (which is still society's fabricated notion) with inflammatory, pejorative responses. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone REALLY believes any of us are gay for our attraction to these women, that just doesn't make sense. Rather, terms like Homo and F%*&£t are used as an attack to define the line in what they believe is 'right and wrong' or 'good and bad'.

Here is the full vid if you're interested in more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koud7hgGyQ8

Quickly, just as a caveat you can see this happening in action as we speak. Russian state television is brandishing gay and trans athletes as abominations to preserve Russian tradition against modern western values.

My friend has some awkward transparency issues, and tends to flip flop his opinions. He’s married to a skinny Minnie, (not that I have against that) ,and girls like him through out his teens, and didn’t have a problem finding GFs before he was married. So what I’m trying to say is his taste his average. But he’s said before that my fetish isn’t a big deal, and there’s nothing wrong with liking this stuff. Now he’s insisting I’m gay I'm bye sexual. I don’t and have never felt any attraction to men. Muscular men do a opposite, they actually me feel very inadequate. I think my attraction stems from this inadequate problem, but that’s another topic. I mean I showed him pictures of figure women, he even thinks those are gross. How do you guys deal with such allegations, and what do you say.

Someone should tell your friend that gay men like MEN, not women with muscles lol. According to his logic, a man is straight if he likes femboys

Interesting, thanks for sharing...

I wonder if that line of thinking has to do with the fact that women traditionally are more concerned with their looks than men, which is normal to a point. Personally, I address my looks whenever possible, but I think for men too, it can become an issue more so than for women.

I would agree that any man that is overly obsessed about looks isn't gay, but he's clearly being "feminized" to some degree or another, which seems to be happening more and more in the past 50 years or so.

Building muscle isn't being feminized obviously, but if the process interferes with the deeper and more profound aspects of their life, then it would be a fetish (because of the imbalance of attention paid to it), and could very well indicate a feminized male in my opinion.

If you don't feel sexual attraction to males, then you're not gay, it's that simple.

Women don't have to be completely separated from stereotypical male traits in order to be attractive. Women and men are not like black and white. They can share some traits and that is completely fine.

There is such a thing as "Beta males" though. Beta males allow the women to rule over them and essentially boss them around. This is to some degree, a defining characteristic among certain GWM fans.

Obviously, the physical attraction isn't limited to GWM's, as many Beta's prefer lawyer's and Dr's or whatever else, but the muscle is the fetish aspect of this kind of Beta male.

My point was that being gay for liking GWM's is ludicrous, but there's another issue that no one yet has seemed to address...

If they insist you're gay, make sure to insist they're just mdfckers. As simple as it is.

The whole "Alpha" males vs "Beta" discourse is bad science and has been debunked everywhere except 4chan and similar websites.

For the record, I'm bi, but I prefer small, "twink" men to bodybuilders, but FBBs to small frail women.

I’m the same way. I like my men feminine, but I like my women masculine, for the most part.

but there's another issue that no one yet has seemed to address...

Many men who are very alpha outside the bedroom get super subby in the bedroom. Including some gay men. It's the classic "big CEO caught with a dominatrix", but for real.

Many men who have little power in their daily lives, crave power in the bedroom. This could mean a smaller guy with a desk job, or even a big strong trades dude who gets bossed around all day by the white-hat-and-clipboard guys.

Some family guys are kinky. Some artistic / macho types are good snugglers.

Attraction and sex are complicated, and not easily mapped to social roles. If your simplified map of the world happens to put you in a special spot, chances are that's why your map looks that way -- it makes you feel comfortable. :)

All you did there was to address liars. Liars put on a show for others because they're not sincere...

The point is simple. Liking an FBB doesn't mean you're gay - but it could reveal a craving for mama's Love. Men are supposed to be leaders, and anything less is Beta. Don't try to overcomplicate something that's profound but simple. There's literally no point...

In my opinion being attracted by muscular women don’t make you gay. But if your preferens is a rodied up, extremely muscular, lean, no breasts (not meaning pectorial muscles), dark voiced, enlarged clitoris and otherwise more male like. We can agree that you are not attracted to the usual female norm.

The “But…” part describes my preference exactly. Does that make me gay?

And when I am a girl and I like all this very much, do I like men or women?

Ron White put it best when he asked straight dudes what size d*** they prefer when watching porn. Almost all of them like 'em big.

Gay doesn't really mean anything these days, unless you are someone who wears it as a badge of pride and makes it your entire identity. As in the example above, it seems that most people would fall into some spectrum of being gay, even if it's only 5-10%. And that's fine, it's not something to be ashamed of, or even worry about. It is what it is.

i dont' watch porn like that but there's probably a small chance at least that guys watching porn where they prefer a big dick on the guy is similar to watching sports living vicariously. sometimes i wish i was that dude making the big play on national tv or scoring at the world cup. so if you're straight its not a sexual thing but a living vicariously thing
