I want to thank RickFree so much for making this thread, and if you don't mind, I want to share my story with you. I've had girlfriends with great muscles that I was able to share this with, and my wife is an aspiring bodybuilder who knows what I'm into and what I like about this scene, but thanks to RickFree creating this thread and ESPECIALLY after reading what Marshmallow95 has to say, I think I've found a place where I can finally talk with other guys about EXACTLY what women's bodybuilding means to me. This is the first time I've EVER talked or written about this with other guys and I'm actually really excited an enthusiastic about it. To start, I'm 51 years old, and I've been into women's bodybuilding from the first time I saw one on a show called "Real People" when I was 8 years old. I always stopped to watch it when there was a contest or news piece about them on TV, but there was no maturity behind it, just hormones: it gave me a woody almost on sight, and the same thing would happen every time I saw any footage or pictures of a woman with any kind of muscle on her body. I've been kinda lucky to have seen the evolution of the scene, from women like Rachel McClish & Carla Dunlap 40 years ago, all the way through to modern women like Iris Kyle & Andrea Shaw; I collected magazines like Women's Physique World (which I've been stockpiling again thanks to eBay), Muscle Elegance, and Female Bodybuilding. I honestly believe that these female bodybuilders have been some of the most beautiful and attractive celebrity/pop culture women of the last 40 years; I never said it out loud back then, but I've never just wanted to have sex with female bodybuilders: I always hoped that one day I would be in an exclusive relationship with one. I think they're amazing and, looking back, I honestly don't think I would've been happy if I'd married a woman who wanted nothing to do with it. Over the years, I matured into being as much a fan with rooting interest in the competitions as I was originally a horny 14-year-old, neaking into the magazine section of CVS to sneak a peek at the new issue of FLEX to get my latest Cory Everson fix. Like you guys, these women have become influential to me. They're role models and that includes seeing some of these videos and photos and wanting to have the muscular qualities that they do. After decades of following this sport, I've definitely seen women that have things in common with the men, in terms of muscle mass, proportions, conditioning, and even similar body types. I've seen women with muscle structure and basic frames that are like mine, and physiques that are along the lines of my own goals with weight training and development. And if you look closely at the posing routines in both men and women's contests, there poses that are universal to both. Female bodybuilding has actually helped me become more secure in my own sexuality and the fact that I'm a man, and one of the biggest motivations for me to lift and develop my own body is because I want to be on the same level as the women I admire, and I want them to be impressed with me. As I said before, I'm 51 years old; I met my wife 5 years ago, when we were both in our 40's. She's an aspiring bodybuilder in her own right, and one of the reasons she agreed to keep seeing me is BECAUSE I like that. Anyway, I've said a lot in this post, and don't want to stretch this out any longer than I have to. If anyone here wants to chat about this on this thread, or even in the chats, I'm open to it. I'm sorry I took it off the topic a bit, but I plan on sharing a lot more on here. This is a whole other side of being interested in this website, as well as the female bodybuilding scene overall; I feel like I belong here, and I hope we all can keep talking about this stuff in this way. Thanks for your time everyone. P.S. My shoulders tend to get broader and thicker when I lift heavy, and a lot of Latin/South American women have that. I really dig how hard those women train.

You are absolutely right man!! nothing wrong in it!! Like i said... I was too worried to talk about this as people thought like I want to be feminine and all that.I am only 28 years old, and hence undoubtedly still don't know much about female bodybuilding world, but i have been an admirer of Muscular women since i was 13. First it's started as natural hormonal attraction as they are undisputedly hot. But as years passed by, I understood a lot. And one thing i observed that female muscularity irrespective of what division it is or whether it is CrossFit, have evolved so much that the typical conservative statement that "women can't get Muscular or hugely muscular as men" doesn't make much sense today!! Like i said above, female muscularity has evolved incredibly!! Nowadays figure division girls no matter their age, get as muscular as classic physique division male bodybuilders. Seeing this evolution made me decide that why i should see a male bodybuilder as my ideal physique goal, if most men today can't reach the level of muscular women!!hence, seeing your dream goal of having a muscular woman's physique makes more sense!!

Yeah honestly i think its a much more achievable physique for alot of us but still takes alot of hard work and dedication. Some of the women at my Crossfit gym are amazing for example. I'm not sure Crossfit has produced such great results for me, my best results seemed to be lower volume, sets to failure in a controlled manner, maybe high intensity for a working set or two but not tons..

Alas i often sabotaged myself with diet.

Agreed, and honestly, even though it's just the beginning, female muscularity have evolved so much that even most men would struggle to achieve it,like for example, even figure division girls nowadays are built like tanks, and about wellness girls, it's a crazy journey to achieve lower body like theirs

It's an interesting thread you started rick!!i think the same way but didn't have the courage to talk about it even among female muscle admirers,as i told few of them and they saw it as weird!! But i genuinely admire female bodybuilders so much that unlike other guys, who gets inspired from male bodybuilders and paste their pics on walls or collect their magazines, i want to achieve my physique like that or similar to that of a female bodybuilder.

Looks like it was Barresi-Sanders for awhile. I think her mom’s is Barresi and her dad was Sanders but not sure why she’s using one vs the other aside from she’s been Barresi on IG for a decade. But she has track and field records from middle/high school Showing the hyphenate

Honestly I don't really think so unless the guy was just a complete and utter pussy. Women have different bone density and structure even despite all the juice. I seen a thing a while ago that like an under 16's soccer team absolutely pummeled a proper professional women's soccer team and it wasn't even remotely close. I actually think that you would have to actively let them win for them to beat you

For example, how would Vladislava Galagan, Melinda Lindmark, Andrea Shaw, Natalia Trukhina, or Maria Wattel do in fight?

Except for Maria Wattel, height and reach would obviously be a disadvantage, but do you think their strength would be able to make up for it for each of them?

Please bring up other models as examples!

I was always skinny growing up. Narrow frame as a man. I think my physique goals have become more to become like one of the muscular women on here. Not freakishly large, but with my narrow frame i am looking for goal physiques.

I have decent arms, shoulders are somewhat narrow for a guy. 5Ft 10 185.

One of my favorites has been alexis lunar body. I am taller than her of course, but i want her arms, shoulders and nice abs. I already have a decent butt but always keep working on that.

Who would be some of your goal physiques? I know its a little unusual as a man to go for a female physique but i think its way more attainable and probably healthy for me than the freakishly large male bodybuilder physiques.

This is something that happens a lot when a relationship goes sour. but with her strength she was able to do more damage. I have seen similar senarios countless times but the woman was not this powerful.

Yotv has this defined perfectly.

her IG handle is the same, so is her name in her bio?

IMO Tessa got started on IG and socials too early. she had family stuff going on, so maybe a bad mental space, but she blew up when she was 16, 17? competed as soon as she was able to, blew up again when she went to bikini. that was 10 years ago. it looks like she' shanging up the heels for a little bit, doing stuff that she wants to do, but juding by her recent postings on fb probably stepping away from socials.

the bike and tattoos are whatever, though i snorted when i saw the comment about her posting about her motorcycle journey being about showing women tehy can do anything they wanted if they wanted. if you wanted to do it becuse you wanted to do it you can say so. victim of being constantly online during her developing years, her and everyone her age, and honestly good for them for getting offline.

She has a different username on her other account, Rlzfitness, there She Is Tessa Sanders. I imagine She got married, of that's the case She has always been wrong with her relationships, truly has bad luck at them
