DD on the Spot is back, but he's still toxic

He is a pretty bad interviewer but he is much better than David. Dude can barely keep himself composed when talking to competitors

I disagree. David doesn't talk about himself like Ryan does. He lets the ladies talk.

OH! I totally forgot his name for some reason. I have seen some of his videos and he's not bad. He's a little goofy and awkward, but for the most part he's a good interviewer, especially as someone who (admittedly judging by his appearance) doesn't train himself and relies on third-hand knowledge of the sport from his interviewees. He is a much better interviewer than Ryan.

I watch the posing compilations with no sound, so I have no idea what he is like.

They're both toxic but unfortunately that's the best we've got. The JBL hardcorefbb guys are just loud and they don't really do a good job at interviewing. George Page is nice enough but he constantly screams and talks a lot about himself as well. There's always a sob story somewhere. The best interview I've ever seen was from a coach interviewing Sherry Priami. Dude was concise, let her talk and asked great questions.

It’s almost as if people who are actually involved in bodybuilding give good interviews.

Do you have a link to that interview, btw?

David seems pretty knowledgable on the sport. He has been a fan for a long time, as he's mentioned in the interviews since the 1980s, so he knows about FBBs from different eras. And I like David's interview style. He's gotten better over the years, IMHO.

He also goes to the BB shows and produces some decent original content from the shows, like at Optimum this year, which Ryan doesn't do.

I get it, but the creep factor definitely comes out. He obsesses too much on certain fetish aspects and it shows. I wish he made the videos of the women larger instead of seeing his enamored face plastered on the screen aimlessly looking around. At least DD adds images and keeps the women way bigger than his picture.
