Languages you speak and are learning (possibly inspired by muscle girls)

Apr 12, 2026 - permalink

I am curious which languages you speak. What is your native language, what other languages do you speak (at which level), and which one(s) are you currently learning.

Furthermore it would be interesting to know if some of the muscular girls on this forum have made you interested in starting to learn a specific language (because they speak it) or motivated you to make further progress in the language you are learning, and maybe also use some of their online content to learn.

For instance, my native language is Dutch and obviously I speak English. Besides that, I speak Norwegian. I recently watched some Youtube videos of Lena Ramsteiner in German, which I can follow quite well (speaking German is a different matter), and I also saw Aline Dessine makes videos in French but that went way over my head. My main language I am focussing on to learn right now is Mandarin Chinese.

Interested what you guys would like to share about this topic. Cheers!

I am fluent in English and Dutch. and I can speak broken Spanish, Portuguese, german and Swedish .I can also understand Russian, polish, french, italian, japanese, Hungarian, Turkish, Hindi and a bunch of others that I don't count since i am bad at those languages.

But as far as muscular women go its nice to understand them but that was not my main goal. but i had a strange situation 10 years ago when a Spanish speaking woman who was attractive but not muscular tried to seduce me. but got frustrated with the language barrier and gave up and there were a lot of other minor incidents when i with I knew more languages in 2016 . but this was the final straw and i then spend some time trying to learn Spanish .and i was really surprised by my rapid progress so i got cocky and started learning a new language every month. I also like some female muscle literature and hentai in Japanese and Korean and mandarin. but i really suck at those especially mandarin and Korean. and it seems like there is almost nothing like this coming out of Europe.

But then i found out that the hard part is learning the grammar and getting the ability to respond quickly in conversations. And now i Don't even know how many languages i really speak .

I speak German and Russian. I studied German literature along with other things and learned Russian on my own. I also understand a fair amount of Spanish and French. German and Russian seem to be pretty good bodybuilding languages!

I am a native speaker of Serbo-Croatian and understand other Slavic languages to an extent. I also know German, though I'm much better at reading than speaking it.

Regarding GWM though, I think it's helpful to know Russian in particular because so many GWMs are from the former USSR and they often make videos in Russian talking about their workouts and routines. The women there seem more open about PEDs as well, but they usually call it 'doping' or 'pharma(cology)' instead.

When I was in Osaka I took a Japanese muscle lady to lunch! She helped me with my Japanese and handled the ordering of the food. But I knew enough Japanese to have a great time and meet all sorts of other interesting people while there as well!

Iam an Italian native speaker. I also have a good level in Spanish, thanks to my former girlfriend, and a pretty bad one for English. Funny thing: Knowing Italian and Spanish, written Portuguese is easy for me. But spoken Portuguese is almost impossible for me

Dude, I don't blame you. I took quite a bit of Spanish in school (so I'm semi-fluent) but Portuguese is such a doozy to listen to. It's a lot more nasal & slurred, and Portugal Portuguese often gets mistaken for a Slavic language!
