Is there a character limit to tags? Because I think there needs to be "Women’s Bodybuilding Competitor" tag. "Bodybuilder" is very broad and can refer to any of the divisions, even Bikini considering how it’s evolved into the mini-figure division. Or maybe the “wellness competitor” “bikini competitor” and “figure competitor” tags need to be renamed as referring to the divisions.
Currently "back traps" is a child of "traps" which I think is correct. They are not the same thing (though "back traps" appears to be used incorrectly in a few places)
Ah you mean "back traps" if they're viewed from behind and else just "traps"? Btw wasn't there a "front traps" tag or similar at one point? I wonder why it's gone now.
A statue is a sculpture of a usually recognisable person or animal, while a sculpture can be abstract or representational. Depends how useful the distinction is on here.
Maybe this is a case of parent/child relationship, but maybe not. It feels a bit of ven diagram type situation, where there is overlap, but not a full one.

Right. There are many subcategories of sculpture (such as relief, kinetic, abstract). Forcing sculpture as a parent relationship to statue just creates more noise than it fixes.
I suggest leaving them as siblings, so to speak.
I noticed that the pre-existing tag ”non-selfie mirror” (NSM) has been merged into the tag “model in reflection”.
The point of the NSM tag was that the photos tagged with that tag are not selfies, i.e. the photo did not show the model holding a cell phone or telephone. I see now that some of the photos in the “model in reflection” tag include selfies with the model holding a cell phone. Would it be possible for the NSM tag to be restored as an independent tag or for the “model in reflection” tag to be named “non-selfie mirror” in order to clarify that selfies don’t belong under the tag?

The point of the NSM tag was that the photos tagged with that tag are not selfies, i.e. the photo doesn’t show the model holding a cell phone or telephone. I see now that already at least one of the photos in the “model in reflection” tag includes a selfie photo with the model holding a cell phone. Would it be possible for the “model in reflection” tag to be renamed to include the word “non-selfie” in order to clarify that evident selfies don’t belong under the tag? There are already other tags that accommodate selfie photos with mirrors.
Photos that are not selfies should not be tagged as selfies.
The “non-selfie mirror” tag was merged into "model in reflection" to focus on a positive, verifiable property: the model is visible via a mirror. A tag like “non-selfie mirror” relies on the absence of something (in this case, a visible phone or camera selfie action) which is error-prone and inconsistent.
To code for selfies, a separate positive tag such as "selfie" or "mirror selfie" can be used. This keeps tagging precise: each tag encodes what is actually observable in the photo, rather than what is absent.
"Model in reflection" is for images where the model appears in a mirror, regardless of whether a camera or phone is present or not.

I realize that there can be different tag description philosophies. However, the nice thing about the “non-selfie mirror” tag was that it resulted in a collection of photos where the reflection of the model is seen in the photo but without the obtrusive distraction of a visible cell phone. This way one could concentrate on the models in the photos better.
You expressed a concern about the possibility of tagging errors. However, I recall few (if any) tagging errors (i.e., selfie photos) that had to be corrected in connection with the “non-selfie mirror” tag.

There's an "animal statue/replica" tag - I don't know if that needs merging or made a child tag or left as it is.

I believe we can have the exact result you want. As things stand, "model in reflection" does not really include selfies.
That outcome can continue with the current structure, but it does depend on tagging fidelity.
Using "model in reflection" together with selfie tags allows the same filtering the old non-selfie mirror tag intended, provided that selfies are consistently tagged as such, and "model in reflection" is tagged properly. That consistency is what lets positive tags do the work without adding noise through exclusion-based ones.
This is also where experienced users like you help most. Accurate application of selfie tags is what keeps "model in reflection" clean and useful for everyone. When tags are applied correctly, the system naturally separates phone-in-frame images from non-selfie reflections without introducing additional tags.

Made it a child of "statue".
if you sort the list to show the tags that have single use or uploads you get redundant ones like "bodybuilders" , "breasts implants" misspellings ,like "glures" "gluts". abuse like "love big black cock" and many too numerous to list here
As I said: I have a list, which I think is pretty complete. But maybe this can be done automatically.
"pec flexing" – "pec flex/bouncing"
And there seems to be a large number of tags which appear in the list but aren't actually assigned. Like "adm" and "ai gen". Can those be removed? I have a list.
I have seen those examples on the list and have been monitoring them. Sometimes tags get created and they don’t make sense to me, and then after some time they get used. Often they do not. I suspect “adm” was a typographical error. We will probably remove those.
If you have any other suggestions, we are open to them.

Thanks, for your work on this.
Just curious, when did you last run that? A few of these have been deleted/merged already.
Give us a bit of time to address the worst ones.
