I used Chat GPT: what country has the highest percentage of muscled women
ChatGPT said: Identifying the country with the highest percentage of muscular women is challenging due to a lack of comprehensive global data. However, based on available information and community insights, several countries stand out for their prominence in female bodybuilding and fitness culture.
Brazil is often highlighted for its vibrant fitness culture, particularly in bodybuilding. Many enthusiasts note that Brazilian women frequently participate in bodybuilding and fitness competitions, contributing to a visible presence of muscular women in the country .
United States also has a significant number of female bodybuilders, with cities like Los Angeles being known hubs for bodybuilding culture. While the overall percentage may not be the highest, the visibility and influence of muscular women in the U.S. are considerable . girlswithmuscle.com
Japan has seen a rise in female bodybuilding, with the number of registered female bodybuilders doubling over six years to around 3,000. This growth reflects a growing interest in fitness and bodybuilding among Japanese women . Psychology Answers

If I could have a "named only" tick mark for searching, I could select a few countries that you guys would suggest to search for, then cycle through all named-pics-only with those nationalities to collect the names, then count the different names. This approach uses GWM as the database for the amount of muscle women, then we get the ratio from a trusted data source for the total female population of each country, and it's done.

Main error sources from this are: unnamed models out of count, blacklisted models out of count, only the countries searched would appear on the count.
What do you think about the results?
Friends, I wouldn't like to discourage your discussion, but the country with the most muscular women in the world is definitely Brazil. We have women from all categories (bikini, wellness, figure, women's physique and heavy bodybuilding) and many are not here yet in GWM. We are an extremely vain population and, if I'm not mistaken, there are studies that confirm that Brazil is the second country with the most gyms in the world, behind only the USA, which is already a good indication of why we care so much about our appearance.
> Great thread, just update the uploads to be unique and I’m very interested to see the results
I try to guess: 1) United States 2) Brazil, 3) Canada, 4) South Korea, 5) Australia, 6) Germany, 7) Italy, 8) Spain, 9) Sweden, 10) Ukraine
I try to repost my possible rank, based overall on the number of woman competitors in all class of bodybuilding.
I don't think I'm too far from real result.
Whatever country Dubai is in. (UAE?)
It should be images with emirati tag which i forgot to include https://www.girlswithmuscle.com/images/?tags=...
Prediction: China and India will still be 1 and 2, per capita, one day. Look at what's happening to GWM: it's like an explosion of Chinese now, and now there's also lots of Indian. There will be millions of them.
India is probably top 10 least muscle woman per capita, probably only a few arab nations have less
If I had to guess, even if you filter out only unique models, nordic contries come out on top. Brazil and USA has a lot in absolute numbers but I don't think they are top 10 per capita. Canada and Australia is up there aswell
As a data professional my first thought when seeing this question was,
"Gyms in most nations aren't even required to report membership totals let alone run dexa scans to track lean muscle tissue (gains) per female member"

That vanity is a blessing and boon to the community; obrigado, senhor!!
I still suspect that the Scandinavian countries will be all near the top. It seems like being sporty/active is a pretty strong part of their culture. Some of the most prominent Crossfitters are/were from that region, they have loads of reality TV shows based around former athletes and physical challenges, there were the old fitness competitions combining posing and actual max reps exercises like Icefitness/SM/Fitness Five, Iceland has a school sports competition which is televised, etc, etc.
