I feel the same way, some of my inspirations for fitness are mostly women.
Agreed
I think i'm going to start hitting a more glutes focused program. I already have a really nice butt, but want to make it outstanding. I own the book Glutelab, so want to do more programs based on hip thrusts and squats. Wish me luck.
The other big key is for me to diet and lose some of the fat around my midsection.
Great thread. I'm a naturally slim and elegant man, but after 15 years of bodybuilding exercises, protein shakes, and recently a real bodybuilder's diet I've gotten pretty buff. My goal is to have the physique of Manal Ben Jabeur, and if I could get on her cycle, it's achievable for me.
I think I would do much better on the PED regimen of a female physique competitor than on what the guys take. It's too bad there isn't a men's figure division, because my frame would be perfect for it.
The two hardest things for me have been the diet and finding the time to workout now that I am a busy career man. Once I started strictly eating oats, eggs, greens, rice, chicken, peanut butter and protein shakes my body blew up! And that was with just barely having the time to work out at home due to my career. Now I've got a little more free time and joined a hardcore gym - I'm excited to see where things go from here.
I don't think there's anything wrong with being inspired by these women. They have bigger pecs, delts, lats, biceps, quads, and glutes than 99% of men.
I don't even get what so weird about it, most of the girls on here have huge muscular arms, 6 packs, and pecs, that is basically what most men want when they go to the gym. I don't want to be someone who say's these women look like men but a man wanting a physique like that doesn't mean they are trying to look like a woman. It would be different if a man had a goal of getting a bigger ass or trying to get a skinny as possible, then you could say he's trying to get a womans physique, but most of the women on here have physiques that would be ideal for a man.
and what’s bad if a man wants a large butt and quads to go with that? So many of the men that I see online with muscles the legs look too small proportionally for my liking, nevermind the fact that I think that basically every male bodybuilder is too big as the divisions they have encourage them to get as big as possible within certain dimensions. I mean baseball exists and several mlb players have disproportionately larger legs than upper body. Some have shown up on mainstream youtube and such with people basically laughing at the size of a certain baseball player being hit by a pitch to the rear

Glutes and hams especially imho.
When I started focusing on aesthetics I didn't know what kind of physique I wanted to achieve, so I kept looking at male bodybuilders, athletes, etc. to find a good match, but I hated how most of them had big upper bodies (too big for my taste) and no legs, especially glutes, even the ones with big legs used to focus on quads.
Then a couple of months later I saw (literally by accident) a reddit post on the general feed, the title was "when a female bodybuilder wears a dress" , and I went like "damn, I want to look like that" .
Then I started ditching my old program, arguing with my coach ("you want your ass to look like a woman?" his words), my body looks way more balanced now.
Some female bodybuilders on this site have perfect proportions and don't look ridiculous (like most male bodybuilders) .
Yeah, I'm honestly leaning towards the look of FBB's I love the curvy figure some of them have, I wanna have those same goals as well I have a pretty curvy physique
This is an interesting thread and I want to share my thoughts. I don't see anything wrong with men looking up to natural female bodybuilders as their physique goal. Men and women have the same muscles but it's easier for men in general to build muscle than women. That's why I think that male bodybuilders can look unnatural especially if they use steroids. They can become so big that they stand out in a crowd.
Natural female bodybuilders can achieve a physique that also looks good on men. They will be more muscular than most women. But since most men can build muscle more easily than women, the physique of a natural female bodybuilder should be achievable for men who do the necessary work inside and outside the gym.
I don't think that has anything to do with sexuality. I see it as someone admiring and wanting to emulate another person for working hard to reach her body's full potential naturally.
So here’s a positive story about loving muscular women. I used to be kinda fat. 250lbs plus. Bad cholesterol the works. I had a couple of sessions but I felt like a walrus with these women. I decided to lose weight because I wanted lift and carry. Over the next 8 months I lost 70 lbs. down to 180 ish. I got picked up and carried around. I got over powered easily. It was awesome. Then I decided I wanted muscle like I admired from the women on this site. I’m back up to 235 bu I have big arms and a slim waist. I’m 53 now. Admiring female bodybuilders saved my life. I don’t care to watch men workout but watching a beautiful woman hit the weights is heaven. I watch firm Ang get new ideas
Congrats Josh! It is nice to hear positive stories such as yours. Hopefully, your story will also inspire more people.
