Adding to the list of names making a surprise comeback this year. Cindy is going to compete again this year. Unfortunately she is doing Wellness, but at least we'll see her back on stage. Although I have a feeling it will be a one and done. She won't place well.
Stop. Tina Chandler was already enough news for me and now one of the most beautiful women to compete is coming back? Holy Hell. I am elated! I love Cindy Phillips and am thrilled to hear her coming back! I am almost at a loss for words here. I do not even mind that she is returning through the Wellness Division. Personally, I love the women that comprise that division as they strike a nice balance between emphasizing femininity and muscularity in a more "ideal" way. I will miss her upper body development though.

It took me a second to find it. I forgot that she does not technically go by "Phillips" anymore since she is married with kids.
So how different can we expect her to look? I remember she downsized considerably and tried her hand at Physique after going MIA for a few years. This was of course when Physique was just barely going so she didn't place very well at all.
She looks - back in her crazy young prime she couldve won regional NPC WPD comps with a better conditioning - the current size of competitors and condition has way surpassed that.. good luck to her .. same for Tina Chandler - highly rated for good reason 15 years+ ago.. now everyone has huge backs, glutes..training techniques and intensity have doubled as have PED's which both were on back in the day. Good luck to both.. cant wait to see. Also to See Shanique do her 1st Wellnes show

Yeah, Cindy in her absolute prime and at her biggest could easily clasify for Physique nowadays. Man, imagine had we gotten Cindy competing with the likes of Dani Reardon in her prime.
