Just a head's up, I found out from looking up where this new clip came from (and getting a better version of it):

...that it's the preview trailer for an upcoming episode of a Japanese human-interest show called "Birthday" that will be airing this Saturday on 1/27/2024, and from what I can tell should be available for free linked from this page afterwards.

I'll see if I can get a download of it once it's up.

On a side note, the archive page for one of the other shows she was on previously that I linked to here has moved from paravi.jp to a service called unext.jp (the link for the episode will redirect you). They have a free preview period but I ran into similar issues as the old site with it not accepting my credit card details, possibly just because you have to enter a name in Katakana, which obviously isn't going to match my bank details.

There weren't really any more flexes it in, just a bunch of armwrestling matches (most of which I think can be found individually on Youtube) and some gym footage.

It's unfortunately pretty blurry, so I forgot to mention that. I'm assuming it's a zoomed-in version of a wider shot, so there might not actually be any higher-quality source video. Probably worth seeing if I can find a video of that medal ceremony to check, though.

If you heard her voice and got a closer look you'd realize there is no evidence of steroid or hormone use there. How was she beating adults at armwrestling when she was 11 years old? Was she on gear then too?

One of the worst things about this site is the fucking obsession with drugs and who's on them and which ones and how much and how nobody can ever possibly be natural if they have even the slightest hint of muscularity or strength. It's exhausting.

So, I went back to look up the contest that podium flex was from. After some googling, she won last year's World Armwrestling Federation (WAF) Championships in the "Senior Women 55 Kg Left" and "Right" categories (as in arms). Senior is just the open adult class where anyone 24-39 years old would compete (I think she was 24 or 25 last year). She apparently had to compete on behalf of "WAF Neutral" instead of Japan because the Japanese armwrestling association she's in isn't WAF-affiliated.

Anyway, turns out the WAF has a very respectable livestream archive on their Youtube channel (better than a lot of bodybuilding federations I've seen, for instance).

Here's a clip of that podium flex from around 02:56:52 in the LEFT ARM FINALS, and as I thought the TV show was doing the best they could with the stream footage (pity the camera didn't stay on a closeup):

I'm going to see what I can do later about getting a crop/zoom of it to look good enough to put on the main site, especially since there's an additional angle of the flexing.

I don't have much interest in armwrestling footage myself unless the women's biceps are really bulging out, but I figured I'd save the full streams since they aren't the easiest thing to get, for those that do.

I will say Ayane seemed to get especially pissed and aggressive at her opponent in the "LEFT ARM TABLE 7 (clip1)" match (I think for some kind of positioning issue?), and it was honestly kind of hot.

There's other women with notable physiques in some of the other matches in the full streams, like Andreea Brinza and Esra Kiraz (who I just renamed on the site after finding out that "Çelik Bilek" is just a nickname meaning "The Steel Wrist"), although I didn't go through them in detail.

If anyone wants to make some clips from these videos for the main site feel free, just try to limit it to a couple of really good ones since there's already a fair amount of Ayane Takenaka armwrestling videos up, and armwrestling by itself doesn't really meet the standards without noticeable visible muscles.
