"She Built 1.2m Followers… But Still Struggled With Insecurity" Melinda Lindmark & Sarah Bäckman podcast

Dubai, UAE, is a Muslim country. Sex work is strictly forbidden and illegal Yet the country is full of male and female whores providing the most degenerate services in the planet for some of the most wealthy people.

All of them have a fake legitimate job description and most of them are into real estate.

Seriously, you believe that a woman with the full time job of feeding her million followers with daily sex related content, with close to zero viable commercial posts on her Instagram, zero expertise or relevant education, is in some way making a living selling houses in Dubai. Or does personal training in a Muslim country, to muslim female clients, and not in her native Sweden with thousands of real potential female clients there. Yava Labs income probably amounts into a months rent.

She is beyond muscle worship by now.

The most degenerate services on the planet? At least they're getting consent and not flying out people who are under-age.

They're Muslims. They not only allow that with underage girls, but encourage it.

And yes, it really is the most degenerate and horrific services on the planet. Like making them eat poop from a bucket. The UAE has made Dubai into a modern Sodom and Gomorrah to keep the money coming in after whenever the oil dries up.

It's actually really interesting when you read the actual sins of Sodom and Gomorrah and don't just, you know, take the whole story on face value.

1) Inhospitality and Mistreatment of Strangers: Attempting to sexually assault or mistreat visitors ("yada" in Hebrew) who came to Lot's house

2) Oppression of the Poor: Engaging in systemic greed, economic egoism, and the abuse, humiliation, or punishment of strangers and needy individuals seeking help

3) Pride and Violence: Widespread arrogance and interpersonal violence throughout the communities

4) In many traditional readings, unchecked sexual depravity and licentiousness.

Now, in your mind, talking about Sodom and Gomorrah is all #4, right? That's the usual take. Religious conservatives love to use this Bibilical parable as a talking point against modern LGBT folk.

However, it's worth noting - there were no gay couples in the Bronze Age. Average life expectancy was 20 to 30 years. It wasn't like Sodom and Gomorroah had a bunch of free and happy gay dudes enjoying consenusal sex.

Hell no. But rape was popular. Gang rape was popular. It was common for victorious soldiers to rape the women AND the men AND the boys AND the girls after they won. So most serious Biblical scholars look on the parable of Sodom and Gomorrah as more of a caution against sexual assault than anything else:

The primary narrative focus of Genesis 19 involves a mob of men from Sodom demanding that Lot surrender his two male guests (who are actually angels in disguise) so that the crowd may "know them" (Genesis 19:5). In Hebrew, the word yada ("to know") is commonly used as a euphemism for sexual relations. In this context, traditional readings emphasize the egregious nature of attempted gang rape and the total breakdown of social order, where visitors are met with sexual violence rather than protection

Yeah, gay rape is pretty cruel and inhospitable.

Only one country protects pedophiles and it isn't the UAE. Sexual abuse of minors carries the death penalty in the UAE. Where else is that the case?

Have you not seen the filth that's produced in the US? 2 girls one cup? You're being stupid.

Well to be clear we got here via misogyny -> perceived immorality of sex work -> common misunderstanding and intentional disinformation of the Sodom & Gomorrah parable

Be thankful that it's only gay shit right now. Once Kevin The Gangsta and Conassa and friends appear, Bibical parables will somehow be quoted to attack trans women in sports that have no trans women in them. Just give it time!

We got here because of the gas lighting and BS offered by the two women on the podcast.

The are free to do that but we are also free to point the hypocrisy.
