It's a gross and demeaning lifestyle for anyone who isn't lucky enough to be independently wealthy, married to someone willing to support their endeavors financially or have a successful brand of overpriced, drop-shipped garbage (eg. Dana Linn Bailey).
Everyone is entitled to make their own choices, but I can't imagine many of these girls who have to whore themselves out in Dubai are going to feel good about it in a decade.
Used to follow her on IG but Valentina came across as arrogant, rude and dismissive. Sort of person who looks down at people. Recently she was part of the crowd in a comedy show starring Max Amini talked about how he saved her from contemplating taking her life during/post Covid. She's obviously been through some stuff, has some resentment towards her bodybuilding career (possibly drugs giving her irreversible side effects?) But also appears to be a very bitter person probably just jealous other women have made more money than her. Has a massive chip on her shoulder
Lisa Cross did tell me 99% female bodybuilders are broke and without sessions/X rated content she would be too. Helle Trevino was on Larry Pollock's podcast talked about how Jake Wood would help bodybuilders with financial support but that now appears to be ending.
Yeah, she also talks about having long covid and how it's affected her mood and health for the worse. I wasn't aware she holds this view of the sport until I came across this video and it's honestly sad to see her think like this.

Female bodybuilders doing porn like Onlyfans and appear in Herbiceps.com vids helps them to a certain extent with money. But not everybody who subscribe to Onlyfans are female bodybuilding enthusiasts. And I'm not saying that most female bodybuilders are Onlyfans pornstars.
There are too many people in the bodybuilding space that try to earn a living from either bodybuilding, coaching, etc.
It should be treated as a hobby. Sherry Priami for example is a Dental Hygienist, there are several in figure like Caeleigh bowman and Tessa Meetz that are nurses. Not surprisingly they don't need to post their tits all over the internet or do sessions for money.
Yeah, I remember an interview of Holland Canter where she said "this is just a hobby" in reference to bodybuilding. I think her day job was working for the US Air Force.
Scrolled down and listening to these 2 talk, it sounds like 2 dudes......nothing appealing about any of that
There are some Russian women with even deeper voices like Marie Bastrikova:
She also talks about the side effects on her IG page and has answered questions about her deep voice numerous times.
Injecting yourself with male hormones, ending with the voice of a man that shocks every person that meets you, dealing with psychological problems because of the PEDs, risking your health, beauty, hairline ... yeah, looks like a nice hobby.
It takes a certain king of craziness to do this to your self but being also broke because of it is plain stupid.
Legalizing PEDs will lift a huge burden off the people choosing to be crazy enough to pursue competitive BB. Understanding quickly that BB and the sex industry are close related is also a huge step to make the right decisions. Being bitter, down the road, about your choices, it only reflects back to you.
I don't speak any Russian, but I trust your interpretation.
One of the facts that always gets lost in these salacious bits is that most women who train seriously have nothing to do with any of "those things" when it comes to earning a living or supporting their hobby. Most have not even done a basic shoot apart from the candids taken with their partner's iPhone.
It's so niche that it's really the only way for them to make money doing it. Without sessions, OF, etc, yeah I bet they'd be broke. So if she's the type of person who feel that it's demeaning, then she's probably hating herself right now for having done it herself.
She posted a pic of herself few days ago washing her Tesla wearing a bikini showing off her cheeks. Does have this egotistical, unapologetic, you can't tell me what to do attitude.
Portrays herself as some sort of wellness/health/natty fitness coach who has high end clients. Showcases and brags about her Tesla guess that's what happens when you live in Miami and competing with other people in this space need to show people you are "successful"

To be fair teslas are not rich people cars at the moment. For a while getting a used one was insanely cheap bc the values were low on used ones. If you were in a new X or Y tho that was the. 100k option. Generally the leases are affordable. It’s just a trendy car.
Anyway real talk is that many of them didn’t have other options I guess? I I asked Loren Calderoni about a custom before she was on cam and she quoted me a pretty wild price. She’d do it if she wanted to but she made good money as an engineer so she wasn’t going to do it just bc. I’ve also had women who have done customs for me reach out randomly if they were short on bills or something like that or maybe just wanted lunch and were happy to do a vid. But many of them eventually stabilized and no longer did it after that point but the theme for all of them was that they had found a legit way to make income and steady income.
Her attitude could be due to her living in Miami a superficial city,
I keep hearing that escorting is common among influencers and wannabe influencers in Miami.
Yeah, a sport that amounts to tanning, oiling up, showing 95% of skin and flexing in front of a crowd will draw a certain fanbase
and a certain type of person you would think. The whole fan base is not corrupt. It is just some that don't know how to take a no when you get one from an FBB. I found all kinds of women and all kinds of fans and that was over many years. It seems to be a little creepier since the internet came along. That was a game changer in the whole industry. Wrestling videos became rare. Sessions and webcam became a bigger thing....on line sessions I mean. I never got the tanning or the dieting down. I hate that look and never went to contests where you see the athletes at their all time weakest. It might be the only sport that is the case....all going for a look.
I feel like this post highlights a lot of irony in that for a group that is really into buff women, there also seems to be some that have quite a bit of disdain for them, especially ones who talk about stuff like this and who really don't find interest in the schmome/fetish scene. If it's not dogging on her voice or saying things like it takes a level of craziness and that it's stupid to get that muscular (again, despite that fact that you are on a site that has a lot of women built like her,) it's projecting things like "she is probably jealous towards other women who make more money than her."
It wouldn't surprise me that there are women out there who get into bodybuilding for a love of the sport and who have a desire to get muscular, but don't realize that there is a prominent fetish scene until they reach a certain point in their physique to get attention, or they look for ways to monetize it by providing coaching and training, but realizing that there are other areas that are more lucrative. Valentina comes across as being very honest in talking about her experiences and with how what she was expecting was different from what she encountered. In no way did I felt that she was being demeaning towards people who have a thing for buff women (she said 'Leg crushes, strap-ons, whatever. Now, I don't judge them. I just didn't know about it back then'). Rather, she just said that it wasn't something she had a strong desire to do. I don't understand why some people take it as an affront when a bodybuilder doesn't want to be fetishized or doesn't have a strong desire to do fetish work.) I actually wish we had more bodybuilders like her who are honest about their thoughts towards the industry, both good and bad, pro and con.
And I also find a lot of irony towards people who diminish sex work and performers who do fetish and sex work considering that this site is, well, a fetish site. And while yes, there are bodybuilders out there with careers who don't do fetish work, they are not independent of each other There are some who do fetish work WHILE having a career, and I bet there would be more if society didn't have a strangely puritanical attitude towards consenting adults doing things that are basic human desires. The other big irony is that if every muscular woman and bodybuilder decided to stop doing fetish work like some people here seemingly advocate for, we would have a LOT less content on this site, and sites like HerBiceps, Awefilms and HDPhysiques wouldn't exist anymore.
Good to hear Valentina's perspectives, and I hope she does well.
I’d love to hear the HB perspective on this but have spoken to HD and there’s a feeling that the fetish side as it has existed has changed drastically. Almost anyone can make decent content with their friends these days, for themselves, that is not explicitly fetish content but that’s never stopped schmoes. Sean does very different work from the others at least with photo, so I can see the desire to maybe to something more artistic than they might be able to accomplish.
Anecdotally just feels like way less women are into it these days. On the older side they are aged out of it or established. Younger women have a very different attitude toward it. Many of them don’t even want to compete so there isn’t a need for financial assistance for competition costs. Or maybe they do later compete but they’ve established a couple of streams of good income and don’t necessarily need the money.
Valentina Mishina recently appeared in a video on Nataliya Sharapova's YT channel to talk about health, lifestyle and bodybuilding. She talks about PEDs, immigration to the USA, and why she quit the bodybuilding scene. I saw the clip below while scrolling through IG and decided to translate this short segment into natural English to hear your guys' opinions. The full video on YT has real-time machine translation if you're interested in watching it. I can't post links, so just search "Nataliya Sharapova" on YT and go to her list of videos, you'll find it there.
Nataliya: Why did you decide to leave the scene? At what point were you like "I'm not going back there anymore"?
Valentina: There was no single point, actually.
Nataliya: Is there a chance you might return?
Valentina: Well, actually, there was a moment of truth. Bodybuilding takes away your money and health as well as all of your energy and strength. What does it give you? Foreign fanboy-fetishists who fap to your photos and perhaps [the fact] that one day you wake up and realize how other women in your bodybuilding division earn money through sessions, webcams, and so forth?
Nataliya: Damn, I didn't see any of that. I just don't understand who earns money that way?
Valentina: Everyone. You're either someone's lover or successful wife, or you do OF and sessions. Leg crushes, strap-ons, whatever. Now, I don't judge them. I just didn't know about it back then. I thought everyone worked as coaches and made educational projects or something.
