Chat ideas

I really like the chat on here, and prefer using it over say Discord or other.

Its probably been mentioned before, but it would be nice to have a little sound when a new message comes in (and the option to turn it on and off easily). I think it should also only be for DMs.

I think a browser notification could do this.

Also I think the interface could be improved with having seperate tabs for DMs and the main chat, so you could switch between where you send your message, rather than having to click on the DM button.

Being able to message someone even after a brief disconnect...

And the server should keep these messages longer.
