The difference is u/Spez isn't moderating those subreddits. Inmates run the asylums on Reddit.
We have a warden here who runs a tight ship and things operate smoothly and efficiently as a result.
About four years ago. r/hardbodies, a popular sub for fans of muscular women, was banned due to copyright violations. Not long after, another popular sub, r/death_by_snusnu, had to change their upload policy in response to copyright claims to avoid permanent closure. As a result, the only content getting uploaded there were from OF models, and eventually it went dead. A sister sub with a similar name is still active but is pretty much only OF models.
I fully understand rules against posting paywalled content, and I don't have any issues with women who decide to open an OF to make some extra income. What is annoying, though, is that those subs have turned into spam farms that have the same models posting THE SAME captions for their posts which, if you are not dehydrated-level thirsty, you would see clearly that it's either a bot post or written by some male "manager" making a couple bucks an hour. It's not uncommon to see the exact same caption, like "My bf thinks I'm too muscular, do you agree?", or "Do you like chicks with muscle?" from five different models in less than a day. It's also annoying because they are clearly rhetorical questions with obvious answers (they are literally asking "do you like buff women?" on a sub DEVOTED to muscular women and with a schmoe subscriber base). And it doesn't help that those posts get replies from thirsty dudes playing right into it.
It just sucks to see what those subs have been reduced to, and how straight up irritating the OF spam is (at least write something that is original and not a rehash that only works on the uber-thirsty and desperate!). And, like GWM has proven, you can have a site that posts a lot of solid content without violating copyright.
