I Don't think we reached the limit yet but we are getting closer. i wonder what would happen if very tall women became bodybuilders and in terms of raw strength it can probably still get much better.
but i recently saw a clip of a shorter fbb that could not cross her legs because they were so big. since she is very short her thighs did not reach the world record and there are taller ones with even bigger thighs without this problem. but if they get any bigger there will be problems .so in terms of size there is a limit that some fbbs can reach .
Probably depends a lot on how far they will push through genetic doping. And I am saying this with mixed emotions.
Apart from that, lots of women have reached a limit within single bodyparts that resembles mens bodybuilding. What is missing is one who can bring it all together, including the bone structure and bodyheight. Pretty confident that this is possible, but like one in a billion.
There is an increasing number of women who like a like Amazonka. She and Renee Toney were one of a kind about 10-15 years ago. I could name a few and maybe some folks here will chime in and list some of the names. IMO, the bigger limit rate will slow and the numbres of these massive women will grow.
Gone are the days when Cory Everson was Ms Olympia model type.

Probably more like one in several billion over the last half century. If you start from the premise that we have had 7'10" guys without clinical gigantism (the one that includes thyroidal disturbance), their 7'3" sisters would be a starting point. Given people of great height tend either to be very skinny, OR have excellent genes (think Hafthor/Shaw), there's hope that it's possible, however unlikely, you could one day have a frickken PLANET of a woman - not literally of course, but 7'3", 400lbs @ 18% bodyfat. My absolute dream lady :)
Yea i am sure the biggest fbb was only 6.4 or less. the only female athletes who are very tall are basket ball players. the spot is more mainstream and height gives you a big advantage compared to others. but its more about speed so while they are way stronger than average people. short fbbs can probably still overpower them. but height is a huge advantage

There are some very tall Volleyballers too :) that aside, I take some hope from the fact many very tall male sportsmen blow up when their pro careers are over at 35. Shaq is a case in point, being rake-thin in his early 90's heyday of forcibly bringing down hoops, Yes this might be more age/wealth related than due to predisposition to be 20-something AND huge, BUT it happens; that tells me the potential, at least, is there to trigger that hypertrophy more than a decade earlier.
Female Sumo isn't a thing (I believe) in Japan/overseas, but seeing those absolute beasts of men, huge amounts of muscle hiding under huge rolls of fat, well over 6'2" in a population where I'd tower of most dudes in the street at almost 6, gives me hope in the human genome.
Given the number of guys I've seen 6'7" and over who have no pituitary disorder, I have to conclude their sisters aren't as apt to go out (no guys, I'm NOT debating that so don't start!!) because it's far easier for us dudes to be hugely tall. The only standout exception is Gabby Reece, herself 6'3", but let's face it - she was STUNNING. And beauty forgives all sins.
Do I have to remind anyone I'm not debating or even discussing anything in that last paragraph?? :)
With liver damage on the rise caused by ananbolics and vaccines i think in the next 6 years there will be a dramatic turnaround towards more natural training and development.
I think its slowing down. Peak stage is think was more between about 2012-2022. There will be an increase in the more trim, athletic types tho I think rather than muscle goddesses that are like 5'2 180

Nah, you can't put the genie back in the bottle. All that's going to happen is liver failure will continue to rise.

There’s no liver damage from vaccines… 💀

Of course not, the ICD-10 diagnosis code for it must have been created by mistake.
As long as you have a huge female population interested in gaining muscle to compete, chances are a smaller number of them will filter into the heavier divisions.
More women competing means a stronger push for bigger muscles, higher chances for taller bodies to end up competing in BB.
Umfortunatelly good quality PEDs are getting more difficult to procure. This puts a huge obstacle to breaking past current limits.

I read somewhere that PED nowadays are still based on technologies from the 70’ and 80’. There hasn’t been a push to develop better and safer products in a very long time.

Bruh please go get educated…
We're probably close. I mean, whatever PEDs you're taking, there's nothing stopping you from taking more. But the side effects increase exponentially with increasing dose. The limiting factor is that eventually you train and abuse PEDs so hard that it kills you, and if yo go even harder it kills you even faster, so it becomes a race to see how big you can get before you die from the effects.
It's a similar idea as the world's fattest person. I'm sure somebody could get fatter than whatever the current record is, by simply eating and eating and eating until it killed them. And then the firemen would have to cut a hole in the side of the house and rent a forklift to get their body out of the house.
What I think we will see, however, is a continued inflation of the standards in each division, as irsa suggests. I mean, the bikini girls today are as big or bigger than the figure and fitness girls of a generation ago. And they were as big or bigger than the "bodybuilders" of the 80's.
We'll continue to see inflation of these ranks. Eventually Bodybuilding and WPD will become so similar they they'll be merged. Then Figure will be what WPD is today (with Wellness as kind of an offshoot), and Bikini will be basically what Figure is today (which is basically what Physique was when it first started).
And they'll have to come up with new divisions to fill in the gaps at the "bottom" end, which they just recently did with the announcement of the Fit Model Division. That will quickly fill in the gap to become what Bikini is today, and eventually what Figure is today, necessitating the creation of more divisions.
Even taking PEDs out of the picture. Not only is each generation seemingly getting taller, but girls are actively encouraged to not only lift weights, but lift heavier weights than every before. A friend of mine's 13 year old daughter took weightlifting in school. When my friend and I went to school, we weren't even allowed near the weights room until we were 16 years old, and we went to a "progressive" school.
Do you think right now we’re seeing the biggest girls possible? Or do you think, in the future, they’ll be GWM that’ll make even the biggest now look small?
