What's with all those deleted users?

Why do people on here keep deleting their accounts for no reason?

Some guy DMs me and then disappears, like I'm tracking him NSA style.

It happens all the time, and I don't understand the point in this.

The guy who uploaded Jule Klapdorn pics did the same, like he robbed a bank with an ID in his hand.

In the past I thought mods removed them for some reason, but they have nothing to do with it.

There’s one user that keeps deleting their account and making new ones. I don’t think they’re responsible for every case of what you’re describing but they certainly did a good amount.

I have no idea i know there are a few weird guys that delete their accounts only to make a new one if they do this often enough only a few guys can make up the majority of deleted accounts. i am not sure what mental illness causes a person to do that maybe they feel some kind of shame but then they probably would have stopped with account number 3 this really makes 0 sense. it could also just be people getting wrongly banned for spam. but the moderators on this site are quite smart and reasonable. its not like when i got banned from twitter and Instagram because the system thought i was a bot and they don't listen to my arguments because all the customer support is ai and it was in the 2010s when this happened to me so its shit proto ai .maybe there are guys that dont delete their accounts on purpose but keep trying to scam people in elaborate ways .like sometimes you get people that pretend to be a fellow shmoe or a real fbb and only after a few posts do they start linking to viruses or phishing sites .or uploads a lot of stuff that shouldn't be on this site . they usually don't delete your account for that on this site .i guess they do if you upload really grotesque content you know what i mean but that probably doesn't happen often unless the guy doing this is just crazy

I'm not sure why people delete their accounts in general, but banning doesn't make the account show up as "[deleted]". If a user is banned it's not visible to others, the account just looks normal.

Usually we don't delete accounts when banning them because it's redundant if the ban is permanent, and if the ban is not permanent, the deletion would be, so it wouldn't make sense. The one situation in which we do delete accounts is when people use multiple accounts to try to bypass upload limits (not allowed), in which case we will delete their alts and tell them to upload on their remaining account only. But this accounts for only a small portion of deleted accounts.

OK but just don't waste people's time by making threats on the forum and messaging people only to delete your account before people can even read your post

Deleting account and register under a new name is an easy way to circumvent user blocks or hide ID .

For example, the same old crap can be repeated texted in comments , chat or messages, and others only notice later that they've fallen for it.

TL;DR: there are all sorts of reasons and it isn’t always clear why.

Having multiple accounts isn’t really an issue, it’s when people abuse it or use it to do account rotation, where they create an account and then delete the previous one (sometimes they just abandon it). Sometimes there is no clear reason to the behaviour, while in other cases they do something abusive and then try to hide their tracks. In other situations there are people who do get fed up with the mods, delete their account and then come back a few months later.

That's understandable since they delete posts for no good reason, like poor quality. I have seen posts that were definitely poor quality but were posted and others that didn't look so bad deleted. Very spotty judgment. Seems like they are targeting some members.

There's a guy who has some creepy beef with Ruzhena Bedzir and keeps making comments on her pics, claiming is all edited. Then he just disappears, his comments vanish, and after a while, he creates a new account and stars all over again. I lost count of how many times he did this. Weird dude.

Well, this is due to mod action, he isn't intentionally vanishing his comments.

How could I delete my account? I tried earlier and I didn't know how. I hated the arrogance of English born speakers here. I had enough. Now I'm calm again, but it still interests me.

The is an option in your account to do so. Depending on your device, it’s either in the side menu or the drop-menu, when you go to account settings.
