> Well, my case progressed from what I posted a few months ago. She finally decided this summer to work with a personal trainer, which she wanted to do since years ago. She remained in the 160-170 lbs range, but Im still a 30 lbs lighter. I have always been stronger than her, but her strength shocked me even earlier this year. Now she is even more shocking to me. It's difficult to get used to it, but I think she is stronger than me in any regard.
Since then it is safe to say that she is the stronger one. Working out is now her main hobby, and it's the first thing she manages to and actively tries to find time for in a regular bases since childbirth. Visible results now boosts her confidence in the gym, and the fact that she can tease me about it, lol. She knows how it affects me.
I am in no doubt anymore that a woman can be incredibly strong only with consistent and serious work in the gym. Not talking about huge and lean muscles, my wife does not look like a bodybuilder, but she is strong as a bull, in my standards at least. I beg her to armwrestle me for months, and finally she gave in last month, the first time since we played last february (i think), when I still managed to beat her with some effort.
She literally plays with me, it's absolutely crazy what is happening, I nearly can't withstand her grip, lol. We both know that she is the stronger one, but only now we test it regularly for fun. She has always been bigger by like 30 pounds with more fat, but now even her arms are so f'ing dense it's mindboggling.
I got back to training a bit, so I'll catch up eventually, to make it interesting to her, as well.
Are there any men here who are in a relationship with a woman who is physically much stronger than yourself? If yes, can you tell more about it?
Before we met (up to about 1 and a half years earlier) my gf used to work out quite a bit, when we started dating she was about 1.60m tall and weights about 60kg, it was clear she was above average (visible muscle mass) but wasn't anything so special. One day we tried an arm wrestling and man she surprised me: i'll just say i had to use both hands juat to last more than a few second, and still lost (this while i'm about 25cm taller, 20-25kg heavier and most definatly not weak). After this happened she opened up a little about her phisique and strenght, we tested it some times, she could eaaily lift and pin me to the wall, as much as curling me a few times. She recals training arms using 25-28kg dumbels for concentrated bicep curl (sais 8-12 reps), or repping some one hand pullups. Tho in the last year she's neen following a pretty strict/poor diet and been on birth control, so she appears to have losto some muscle and streght; she's sill about as strong as me (or at least that's what she shows), may be a little stronger: we've both got back to the gym, she uses my same weights to work out but doesn't seem to strugle as musch with them.
I had a girlfriend that was 177cm and 52 kg (me 180 and 69 kg ). After a couple of years curing her scoliosys with intensive exercises and weights she became 182 cm tall and 68 kg, pretty muscular. When she realized to be got taller and stronger than me she started to look down on me because of her physical superiority. Very few months later we were separated because she could not stand that her boyfriend were smaller and weaker than her...
Yes. When we started dating she was 6ft tall and 165 and I was 6’2 140 and then she began to go to the gym by the first year she was 190 and now she just finished her cut and she’s down to 180 at 18-19% bf and I’m 160lbs and don’t go to the gym consistently so she outlifts in any lift pretty much
Years ago I slept with a collegiate swimmer who had a wide, incredibly sculpted back, much better than my own. She wasn’t stronger than me though
Probably, she is a pro athlete. I am not.
