Is your female partner stronger?

May 05, 2025 - permalink

Are there any men here who are in a relationship with a woman who is physically much stronger than yourself? If yes, can you tell more about it?

Good luck finding someone who is in the position.

I agree. There was a guy in the chatroom a while back who told me he had a stepmother who was a power lifter and was huge. He and his father had to leave because she almost killed the father. He said she was terrifying. He went by Nineteenyearoldguy or something like that. Haven’t seen him on here in quite a while

I think I had one that was slightly stronger than me. but I am not sure it seems like she was better than me at some things but worse at others.

I can with most certainly say that if I did not start bodybuilding when she did, that she would be stronger than me now. Her biceps are 2" bigger than mine before I started lifting and she's just larger all around from where she started. She lifts very heavy now as well, and outlifts most men in our gym. Even now, I lift what she lifts on some exercises (mostly legs), and we are very close in some (like back, she does seated rows at 100 lbs each arm for 12 reps). Biceps I'm about 25% stronger, and chest about 50% stronger.

I've dated multiple women whose lower bodies were stronger than mine. I mean, WAY stronger. Very muscular. Lots of farm girls and horse riders. I live in the country.

I've dated some women who gave me an upper body challenge, but none who could beat me. I have met women whose upper bodies were stronger, but I didn't date them.

I dated a girl for several years who was a few inches taller than me. She was fit and took great care of herself. We experimented in bed a few times with her exploring her strength versus mine, but generally speaking she was very feminine and not interested in being the dominant partner. This worked out great for me because, unlike 99% of the posters on this forum it seems, I never had any desire to be dominated by a woman. I have a classic type-A personality and prefer to lead at all times.

I'm curious why you ask? Is it creating an issue in your relationship? Feel free to DM me if you don't want to discuss in this thread.

I'd say my wife is still considerably stronger than me. The difference used to be bigger, but I'm catching up. I was actually the one who introduced her to weightlifting and, as expected, I was stronger in the beginning. The thing is, she kept lifting, became a competitive powerlifter, and I took a 12-year hiatus. I have resumed training for 2 years, now, dealing with some injuries, but she is still stronger in almost all lifts.

This was never a negative issue for any of us and we would use it to spice up our relationship, here and there, and still do. It was never a central aspect of our lives, but it can be fun to play, sometimes.

I remember that I once had a tennis match against a former girlfriend and she won.

It is somewhat different to admire a strong woman from apart, or being trapped into such a situation out of the blue.

That's not really a matter of strength. Women beat men all the time in tennis

No. Never been with a partner stronger than me. Well over 300kg dead and back squat, and well over 200kg bench. All raw, no powerlifting lifts.

I would need to maybe marry Hunter Henderson (is that her name?).

I shared some of my experience with my wife and I thought it fits here. So, she is not looking muscular really (well, except maybe her legs, where you can see very slight muscle tones when she flexes, and they feel rock hard, thighs and calves). She has gained some weight and she gave birth to an awesome child one year ago. Well, since all this she started definitely got stronger, she is around 170 lbs, and I am only 135, but I was always leaner and much stronger than her. Like when we armwrestled a few year ago I haven't felt like she was even trying, I nearly didn't apply any strength and pushed her down.

Now it's vastly different. You see, she tries to get back in shape with some training, but since we have a child I have absolutely no time to work out, I'm all work and family mode now. Like 3 months ago she wanted to armwrestle again, so we did that obviously. My god, things got different. In moments I realized that I won't be able to play with her, so I took her very seriously. In theory, I know some techniques which she probably not aware of, but she was holding me in the middle regardless. I mean... I actually got a bit scared, especially that she slightly mocked me with a smile. She was also struggling, but held me for more than a minute, when I finally got how down.

But the thing is that two weeks ago she joined a strengthening online course and told me she feels really good about her strength, and she might sign in for the next level after this one. And my workouts haven't got any better. Also, I kinda feel like she is able to hold the baby with much more stability for a longer period than I can. So... I'm pretty afraid to take her to another armwrestling match now. She hasn't come up with the idea again, but if she does, that will be very interesting times I think.

Would love some details on how you use her strength to spice things up :)

Well, I'm not someone who would feel very comfortable posting private things in detail in a public forum, but I'd say it's not hard to imagine for yourself. A little playful wrestling or armwrestling over something can lead to fun in a number of different ways

Yes, she is.

She used to be skinny until she randomly discovered in the Internet a famous fitness girl named Katarina Konow (Swedish). Since then, she committed herself to become as strong as her. She also admires Karina Elle and Danyele Wilson.

I've always supported her on this matter and we're both happier than ever. We've been together for almost ten years. And she's definitely way stronger.

When I was 265lbs one of my Exs could piggyback me. She was 5 inches shorter and had hands the same size as mine. She was pretty strong. I could definitely overpower her though.

My wife is stronger than me. She's been exercising for 10+ years and recently I managed to convince her to do some heavier lifting. Shen knows my preference for muscle girls and she's willing to build muscle + take creatine and supplements. She's 180cm tall and weighs 80-84kgs. I'm 5cm taller but also weigh 74-76kgs and don't really exercise. Considering all that - she is a bit stronger in upper body than me and MUCH stronger in lower body. I love the fact that she's fine with me not really bulking up while she's recently committed to build muscle and lose fat. She's not very muscular visibly but when you touch her arms or thighs or glutes... they are rock solid. As you might imagine touching her makes me rock solid as well ;)

Also - one thing in her physique makes me especially happy - she's wider than me in her shoulders. She didn't ever want to make a circumference comparison of her shoulders but standing beside her - I'm the narrower one. Just slightly, but still - and it's NOT the fat making her arms wider.
