Seriously guys, just check whether someone got there before you. Not hard. I've just seen 3 of the same video of Mackenzie Suggs....and a few others people aswell.
The uploads are in the queue and are not visible directly, but if one takes the time to search by name, they appear as pending, so... your recommendation is a good one.
Along with adding the name of the model (which allows to detect the duplicates in the first place)
It's playing wackamole with reporting new dup images. I know Chainer has tried to disincentivize this behaviour but not found a solution. . Also there's older model galleries where the name is well known and people don't check if that classic pic from the 90s that we all remember so well is already there , or yet another older Vladislava Galagan pic hasn't already been posted months ago. The only value you can add is if your version is better quality or resolution and that is usually not the case. If it is, then report the one it might replace as a dup.
Here's the thing: if you don't do the work checking if you have a dup. someone else had to take the time to do it for you and report it for you. I try to check the first new pages when I return to the site, otherwise they will be more likely lost in the masses and drop into older pages if not caught then.
And yes, I've occasionally missed a dup when posting myself, but I've otherwise daily several times gone through all pages of a model gallery when I know there's a dup there (as you have to have the dup image link to report) or to check before posting. If it's a pic or video, advanced search here can reduce the number of gallery pages to check, or even Google reverse pic search can sometimes find it faster -

For this very reason I don't really upload old posts. It's likely that it's either been uploaded before, or that the model has changed since then and otherwise would be irrelevant.
Sometimes it can be hard to check if it's already on here. like I found a cool clip I checked if it was on here but I didn't see it. I uploaded it only to find out it was on here anyway and I some how looked past it 3 times in a row.
Although it takes some time (especially with popular models), looking at similar upload dates for the original image on social media and on here is a good way of finding out if it has been uploaded before. I'll just find the date of the original post then go back through all the posts on here until i reach that date.
For a single uploader uploading multiple similar images from the same shoot, please don’t do that, otherwise we will have to decide which ones stay.
If an image is from the same source, then the checksum will be the same and rejected on upload. The problem is when people resave an image or take screenshots (don’t do that either), then they can’t be caught as duplicates automatically. Maybe the image finger printing algorithm will catch it, but from what I remember it isn’t run at upload it?
If the model name is known, then it should be easy enough to check if an image is a duplicate, unless the model has 20 pages of images (such as with Vivi Winkler).
It isn't always possible to check. If an image is in the queue, only mods can see it. So it may be already there, but there's no way for you to find it, until it gets out of the queue.

Not quite. What you are referring to is the waitlist. That's where images go when they're approved from the queue, or when someone passes 5 uploads per day. Images get off of it automatically once every few minutes and its only purpose is to limit the rate at which images get posted to the front page so that each image gets its fair share. These images are visible mostly everywhere other than the front page and chronological order of images; on model profiles, "recently commented" etc.
The queue on the other hand is only visible to mods, except for your own uploads.
Even worse it was the same person. They are very very slightly different, but not worth the variants. Additionally the abs there are essentially non-existant. I could partly excuse different people, and maybe if there was significant muscle, but hard to excuse here.
It's also annoying to report as there isn't even just one duplicate url to add to the report. I had to send a general report for you to look further. User has a history of doing this , I've just reported another virtual dup.

They've reposted one of them again. If there wasn't any notable muscle before in any of them, I don't see how that has changed.
