Goob has to live a very tight rope, it's more than likely he will end up getting exposed himself. We are human beings after all, we are all flawed and make mistakes.

Charlotte Chant absolutely photoshops herself and Goob is a genuine cretin. Both are bad, but one is a lot more objectionable than the other.

Basically goob got a huge following for exposing scandals in bodybuilding. and now has to expose someone every few days to maintain his income. but there are not a lot of major scandals so he does bullshit like this

Because this kind of content is exactly what influencers in general due to maintain their audience. Social media is all basically engagement bait and ragebait, and so long as he still has an audience, he's going to continue to put out this content.

I actually feel the same about Coach Kolton. On the surface, his channel serves as a warning against PED use (along with hawking his peptides/HRT products, funny enough,) but I get the impression that it's actually more for cheap engagement bait in primarily focusing on women who are heavily virilized (it's clear he doesn't hold the same...regard to exceptionally buff women as we do here), and it seems like his audience is mostly composed of people who hold the "you look manly!" negative view towards exceptionally buff women. And because I know someone is probably going to mention it, I know that he also has videos that feature men as well, but from my perspective they don't get the same negative response from viewers like the women do.

And what really rubs me the wrong way is when he leeches on content made by others to make his own videos. As many here know, Hannah Hussein has been posting very honest videos about her bodybuilding and specifically her PED journey. However, Kolton used one of those videos for his own clickbaity take entitled "Her coach lied and turned her to a science experiment!" He literally added nothing to Hannah's video (and there was nothing really that needed to be added,) and instead regurgitated her content in a far more annoying sensationalist way.

See - his audience is definitely mostly men. Probably mostly young guys. Probably guys who are casually info lifting.

They love nothing better than to see fitness girls get taken down. It makes them feel better about themselves.

I hear you, but who's going to put in the work to "expose Goob"? Would it be a labor of love? Or do they require compensation for it? There's only so much meat on any bone.

I think calling out people for knowingly cheating or brazenly lying or scamming in a particular activity is fair game. In fitness, this would include stuff like editing your pics to make your muscles look bigger, or going out of your way to lie about PED use. Outside of fitness it might include stuff like cheating in a chess tournament by using chess software, or cheating at speedrunning games (there are countless ways to do that).

What I don't like is going after someone for something they did outside of the activity in question. This could be, for example, bringing up something completely unrelated they once did that you're supposed to be outraged by; or digging into their politics and trying to form an outrage mob over that.

I don't watch goob's content so I don't know which side of this he falls on.

He sounds like someone who is merely in it for attention i doubt he cares if they did an based on how everyone is describing him he sounds like he would call you out for the sake of it the photo editing and peds I don't think matters to him
