Viewer privacy on HBC

Maybe if as on other sites, models can ban users, perhaps there's a case for users to able to block models from contacting them (if not already possible)?

I’ve recently had a similar experience with the same performer, including some really quite abusive language. Was originally planning to just vote with my wallet (although I second the oft-repeated request for an option to block individual performers), but it sounds like this is developing into a pattern for her and it should be reported.

Yes, there have been repeated requests over the years for users to be able to block models. On balance, we never liked the concept because our job is to promote the performers. The people who've been around the site for some time are there because they enjoy the experience more than they dislike it, but a compelling case can be made for offering a model block option to users, even if it's only for the VIPs. I will bring this request to our Admin team at the next meeting.

  1. Personally I believe the contact option on HBC is a waste of time. I've sent a couple emails in the past and have never gotten any answer back. And I do know one of those emails I sent was a question of whether the models can see our credits.

  2. Curvy most definitely makes a habit of talking down to the people in her chat. BUT I always felt the cocky attitude she puts on was on purpose because it's like a role she likes to play. Though I can't say for sure as I don't know her personally. Unfortunately there are a lot of people in this scene who get off on that. I'm not one of those people which is why I've never done a 1on1 with her.

Never assume that an email (to anyone, not just to us) has been received unless you receive a confirmation of such. If you never got any answer, there is any number of things that could have happened between the time you pressed "send" and now. I can apologize for that communication gap, but we cannot resolve any issues we don't know about. You can try to email again help@herbicepscam.com or send me a message here on GWM and I'll see what I can do to help.

Yes, models can see how many credits - if any - their visitors have at the moment they're in the room.

I can confirm the HBC help has not been responsive at all, even when my intention was suggesting them a necessary improvement regarding a few VR clips with crazy issues that needed to be fixed.

If you did not receive a response to your email, it's possible we did not receive it. Send me a message here on GWM and if you let me know your username or email address, I can search for a contact from you in the company inbox. We're always listening to customer feedback on ways to hopefully improve what we're doing.

> > This is not a matter that has anything at all to do with privacy or security. This is a question of poor behavior, period. > > The model sees the username and his available credits, that's it. She knows if he's a past client of hers, because his name appears in green. That's the extent of what models have access to regarding any user. Anything else she gleans or is privy to is because he somehow alluded to it or told her outright.

Is it the extent? I've seen a model get someone's IP address to find where they live. That was on the old platform. Can models still see users' IP addresses? I know they can ban by IP or account, so I imagine they probably still have access to it.

Models cannot see anything except credits and whether a user has spent money on her before. They do know who the VIPs are, but I thought everyone knew that already.

Admin can see all. A model who blocks "Texas" blocks the IP range of that region. She does not know how that range corresponds to any individual user. Likewise, if a model blocks an individual, the ONLY forward-facing information about that user is the name and current credits. The fact that I know the blocked IP means I know the blocked IP. That's all it means. 😉

Did exactly that months ago but didn’t get a reply after a few messages back and forth. Just disappointing in how you treated this matter.

But previously, you said this:

Indeed they try to make sure to credit back any bad experiences. I just had one the other day and it has been taken care of very quickly.

So, one day you're happy with how it was handled and the next, you're not. 🤔 🤷🏽‍♂️

Absolutely! This was a while ago and the problems with the site and the models kept on getting worse (at least on my end). It did seem that you guys just got annoyed by explanations on why I think I should get credits back - in the end you stay the once deciding and I ended up being tired of trying to explain the problems of your website.

It’s the last impression that stuck with me and made me stay away from buying credits at all anymore

Yeah. HBC "Help" never helped me either with a serious concern I had back in October and they ignored all my follow-up emails. They seem rather useless which is why I've stopped using the site.

Ah, sounds like a perfect result for both sides - thanks for the clarification. Best wishes!

The word "serious" gets my attention, but does mean different things to different people. I'm sorry you did not get the assistance you were hoping for. Are you saying that you received an initial reply, but then did not receive a resolution when you sent follow-up messages? Or are you saying that you never received any reply?

From what you've posted, I cannot say I'm familiar with your case. You can try emailing help@herbicepscam.com again or you can message me here on GWM and tell me the email address to search for in our company inbox.

This is absolutely an valid argument. Just as many other explanations like you may simply have forgotten to answer, you thought a collegue had attend to the matter etc. I have to answer a lot emails at my work. And so much can happend.

May i suggest you implement an automatic return email, this way the sender knows if you have received the email. You could also add a ticketing system, although this may be overkill.

You’ll always have the right answer it seems - for every case and everyone that isn’t happy with how you guys treated certain issues. You have an explanation!

But hey - if loosing customers is a perfect result for you, people can try to send emails to help@herbicepscam.com all they want and the result will be the same: in the end you just don’t care too much.

Yes, I received a reply. Whoever uses the "help" email responded about two or three times followed by dead silence despite it being a legal matter. When HBC screws up on their end they never want to fix it, just play dumb instead.

i had only very pleasent experiences with curvy - she loves the dominance thing, but u can have really nice and interesting conversations with her even in free chat. at least as long as u are nice.

as for the herbiceps customer service: i was recently billed without getting any credits - they solved the matter quite fast. so nothing bad to say about it.

Yes, we do have a ticket system to better organize model and client issues with priority level and topic tags. We do not use automated replies, but I am open to doing so. We make an effort to send an initial response to all legitimate queries within 24-48 hours, but sometimes tickets slip through the cracks. The most common explanation for not receiving any response, however, is that the person wrote to us from a bad email address. Hundreds of emails are bounced back to us each year because of this.

If it's a legal matter, you know I cannot talk about it here. But obviously if I don't know what you're talking about, there's nothing we can do to address it. All I can do is invite you to contact us and if it's a serious legal matter, we will give it the appropriate level of attention.

I’m not new here but I am by response, I’m sorry but if you don’t like hbc then don’t use it. If you have another issue, use appropriate channels and file. Other than that what the f are we talking about. Sorry. It seems like a constant hbc defense and funny enough with our fetish or what you will call it, there is very few places that you can get it, so why are we so mad?

So when you deal with a monopoly there’s nothing you can do so either not use it or for those that can’t do without stop complaining and just take it, you’re saying?

Help@herbiceps.com reached me back once on ten... Btw both your Purple Powerhouse VR are completely off set. Just for the record this was not the reason I wrote. What matter is that "help" barely reach back.

To put a final point on this conversation and clear up any confusion, it seems warranted to make the following information crystal clear:

Performers CAN see:

1) The amount of credits a user has at the moment he is in her room

2) The user’s VIP/non-VIP status

3) The user’s spending history in HER room

4) The user’s recent chat history in HER room

Performers CANNOT see:

1) IP addresses

2) user purchase history (total spending or how much he spends in any other room)

3) credit card information

NEW FEATURE: USER-SIDE BLOCK

We are happy to announce the addition of a user-side "block" feature. If there are performer profiles you do not wish to see, you can now block them and will no longer see them in your Live Cams feed or hear from them via the site's mail system. If you change your mind and wish to unblock someone in the future, you can manage your block list on your Dashboard. This block feature is a direct request from users and we have delivered it as of today.

Thank you all for sharing your feedback and concerns with us and giving us the opportunity to address them. We appreciate your many years of support and hope you will continue allowing us to serve you for many more years to come.

Wow, you guys finally listened! I've never gotten a good reason why users hadn't been allowed this feature. The reasons given had never made any sense whatsoever. There are performers I'm just not interested in at all, and no intention of ever soliciting them. In my case, there are some performers with porn-type profiles, just not my type, super-roided and not my thing, etc etc... I just don't want to see them. It doesn't affect what other users see, so what's the big deal? Anyway, great news!

I would just like to say, that I am very happy that this has now been incorporated into HBC. Personally I find it a very useful feature, and it very much enhances my experience of HBC. Well done.
