bit unrelated to the site's focus but related to fitness

My friend says abs/quads workout are useless and chest workout is much more important than them, I know some of you workout regularly so want to hear your thoughts

core is extremely important. it's worked during a lot of compound lifts like deadlifts, squats, etc. but it's not something that should be dismissed as useless. same with quads, they support your body weight so they should be strengthened.

Bad advice guy's like this will more than likely advise you to skip leg day too at some point in time, don't believe them.

Even if you dont like/want to train legs, you should, it helps you with upper body gains (look it up)

Fair enough, seemed a bit weird to me aswell
