Liesbeth My best result was yesterday. 63.1 kg with my right hand and 61.2 kg with my left. I'm still a long way from your strength 😉

She's for real, her Tik Tok shows that she's a competitive arm wrestler with insane forearm strength, just not too many of her videos have been reposted here.

Considering that only 4 women have ever closed a #2 Captains of Crush gripper", roughly 200 lbs, I seriously doubt this is for real. Sarah Backman is a muscular, Champion Armwrestler with powerful forearms and she couldn't come close to these demonstrations.

Statements like these are nothing but myths—good for publicity, children, and people who want to believe

That’s just as true as the old claim that not even the parents of the rock band KISS knew what the members really looked like. They’re simply rumors the fanbase cooked up.

I’ve met female free climbers whose finger strength I can’t match, but I can learn from their training and figure out what suits me and what is feasible for me.

My grip strength stems from my pole training as a professional dancer, and another key factor is that I don't use lifting aids; if my hands can't hold the weight, it’s not right for me—so I work my way up to it. and learn from othere and get better over years

I'd recommend checking out her Tik Tok... 1174mariia ... her upper body strength is mind-blowing. There's one short where she rips apart an apple like it's a piece of paper. Another where she's curling a dumbbell while doing a one-handed handstand. The arm-wrestling videos are the most telling: she completely annihilates her opponents, even grown men much larger than her, in an instant. I'm not making this up... see the videos...

Thank you for that info and tiktok link. My ex-wife had incredible hand strength. She never lifted weights, she was hired to a typical man's job through Affirmative Action. Her forearms were very muscular and you could visibly see the power in her sinewy hands and fingers..I'll definitely check her out on tiktok. Believe me...I want it to be true.

That's not a Captains of Crush gripper though. Given it's rated at 200lbs it;s highly likely it's one of the many, many gripper that use generic, mass produced Chinese springs (Heavy Grips and Grip Genie are a couple of big names that use these springs). These grippers generally come in sets rated at 100/150/200/250 etc, and the rating is for closing the spring without handles.

The only way to compare them is to use the RGC value, as done by Cannon Power Works. A '200lb' gripper has an RGC of around 90lbs which puts it inline with a CoC #1.5. She doesn't show the full closure though, so I would suspect there is some assistance from her other hand.

As for 4 women only closing the CoC #2, it's only correct that only 4 women have certified on the #2. There is a video on YouTube of Rebecca Roberts closing a #2 for 10 reps. And another one of her closing a Gods of Grip Elite 5 (basically a CoC 2.5).
