Hi.. I need to know why my pic was deleted and merged!!
I believe my version is better, plus mine was uploaded before this one (check the upload number in both url links).. Mine was in the queue before this one was uploaded.. You can check by yourselves and see if I'm right..
It was first (by a small margin), but I will disagree on "better." I see no additional detail in yours despite the higher pixel count. The other one appears to match the largest size of that specific image available on instagram. I didn't make that merge, but initial research seems to prove that it was a good choice.
I won't argue about the quality factor because it usually has a wide scale of relatively.. Some believe a certain version is better quality, others believe it's not..
However, there's still the fact that my version was uploaded earlier, and that's is usually a strong factor in the rules of merging, given that there's no big difference in quality if you say so, always the earlier version stays, doesn't it?

If they are less than a day apart, like here, then I don't really care at all which was first. In this case I'd also favor the smaller, less blurry one.
Edit: Also, all of this doesn't really matter, it's a model with 6 pages of images already so if you choose to upload her anyway, and then get frustrated by merging, that's your problem.

While we're here and discussing, though, I do have a question about the recent source of at least one of your other images.
Which matches the resolution of the version on Instagram on Melina's page. But the one on Melina's Instagram has slightly higher quality and a different filesize. It's the one below.
Did you get it from someone else's Instagram profile, or is that slight downgrade in quality something that your Instagram downloader did? Just saying to keep an eye on such things, in the interest of maximizing the quality of the site images. In this case it's subtle, but if/when I actually notice differences like that, I usually favor the higher quality one.

If memory serves, i believe i got this one from Melina's IG.. And i just uploaded it using my usual downloder.. I don't know if it's the downloader i use or the version of the page itself.. Do you suggest a certain downloder for the best image qualities?!
Well, I can't be of help there, unfortunately. I don't upload enough images to need to rely on the downloaders, so I'm not sure which ones are best. And in any case, Instagram alters its code so often that it probably changes from time to time anyway.
Was it because of the quality?
Yes, the others were both higher-resolution with noticeably less compression artifacts when zoomed in.
Also, they were downloaded from Instagram unchanged, here's a link to the same version of one directly on Instagram's servers (the link parameters will expire shortly and need to be refreshed, but you get the idea):
https://scontent-iad3-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t5...
Instagram generally holds multiple versions of media files on their servers, some of which can be grabbed by some download methods.
Why?
Why what? I like to discover new models. And I do this because I have no interest in "competing" with other users as if posting a photo in GWM were a Formula 1 race.
I literally was the first person to "discover" her 2 years ago and now they are merged? What's the reason THIS TIME?! 🙄
For the second one, the quality of the other one is miles better, like it's not even close.

For the first one the quality is a bit closer but the other one is still noticeably better.

That's cool but that doesn't, like, give you ownership of all uploads of her. In cases where the image quality is very close I do favor the older upload, but that wasn't the case here.

This isn't really a mystery, the versions you uploaded were relatively low-resolution and less clear in the details.
That said, the higher-resolution ones also had a weird color filter applied, so for this one I replaced it with a better version that has both the natural colors and high resolution, cropped from the one on the photographer's IG:
It's been left attributed to a dummy account.
I did the same thing for these others of her to replace the low-res versions, but since you were the only uploader on those I just attributed them back to you (not something I do that often, but you were the first uploader of her on the site):
There's probably also a better version of this one out there with more natual colors:
But I didn't see it in a quick scroll through that photographer's IG, so it might only be on Amanda Bolin's own IG, which is set to private and I don't know if it's accepting new follows.

Why my post got merged with the other one ??
Does no one save the things they upload here on their own machines, so that they could just compare themselves? You understand this isn't a permanent cloud storage service, right? It's an extended 41-second long video vs your 15-second one, and also doesn't have a big text box covering up her legs the entire time (it also has less of an artificial brightness/saturation filter applied). I would have thought the main reason was obvious.
This picture is a cropped version of mine, mine was uploaded earlier and I guess mine is a bit sharper. So I'm puzzled.
Yours was cropped more at the bottom, cutting off her feet. The extra empty background areas on the sides don't really matter. Also looking at them both zoomed-in, the other one isn't missing much in terms of actual detail.
The original of that version seems to have been an IG Story on https://www.instagram.com/audreyroy_ifbbpro that I can now only find as her screenshots of reposts of it in her Stories, so the version on the site currently is probably going to be the highest-quality one available, unless someone else saved a better copy while it was up (I tried cropping the screenshot versions, but they're significantly worse in terms of detail due to multiple rounds of compression).
I re-uploaded this image (that I myself had posted earlier), since Ruzhena posted a better version of it, and then I reported as duplicate. But the worst version "won" the merge:
And since I here, I wonder why this image was NOT merged:
Same case, re-uploaded a better version, reported it, but after weeks, nothing.
Thanks.

The first one cuts off the tips of the elbows, which I don't love, but it's actually a bit higher quality in terms of having less compression. I considered it a tossup and saved the first one.

Those clips only partially overlap. Other than the front abs posing, they show different poses from each other. Some people might see value in both.
May I ask why I lost this merge? Did they upload first, or higher quality?
Both of those are true. He was first, and it's functionally identical to the 1400x1400 image available at Instagram if you view with a logged in account.
