Ms Olympia 2021

Oct 08, 2021 - permalink

I agree CG. You’ll really flip a coin at this point. I’d like to see Helle pull it off, since she’s come in second to Andrea at the Arnold and the Olympia the last couple of years. For Physique, Natalia is sitting in the 1 spot and we are really pulling for her. We met her a couple of years ago at the Olympia and she is super nice.

She deserves it. I lost count of how many Olympias she's competed in, but this year is her best chance to do it.

> Some of these physique girls are so big it’s hard to see how they’re different from the bodybuilding competitors. Great potential lineups.

No kidding. I’m still surprised Brooke Walker is a physique girl. She looks almost as dense as Andrea Shaw.

It's long past due for Brooke to stop holding back and move up to FBBing.

Helle was World champion just 2 years ago.

I was hoping Misty Truscott could win the Ms. Olympia.

No surprise winners this year. And I don't mean that as a complaint. Glad to see Brooke place top 3. Still hard to believe this woman was sitting on the sidelines for quite a few years while Olympia was happening. She has "face of the division" written all over her.

Andrea won't be beaten for a long while. The package she brought this year was incredible to say the least.

When I saw the pre-judging, it was obvious Andrea was going to win

She was far, FAR superior to the other girls.

From 5 to 2nd place it was pretty close, even though Helle Trevino was amazing, but the gap between Andrea and Helle (2nd) was just too big.

Andrea clearly is in a league of her own, she is set to win the Olympia many, many times again, I don't see anyone who could beat her.

Helle was stellar though but unfortunately for her Andrea is in the same generation lol

I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Andrea was big AND conditioned. Even bigger than Margie, and Margie was a tank last year. I see a similar Iris situation where it’s going to be rough for girls to become just as big and ripped as Andrea.

One of my favorite sports marches on 🦴

The Sarah Villegas win is a surprise considering her conditioning was not very good to put it mildly. Natalia and Brooke looked considerably better and it’s especially evident when considering abs and backs.

Guess I lost my bet lol. Andrea looks great regardless though.

I don’t understand the Physique category or what the judges look for. The minute I think I’ve got it figured out, the rug’s pulled from my feet.

Figure that out and you'll be able to solve world peace. No matter the official judging criteria for any of the women's division it will always be interpreted differently by whoever is doing the judging.

You guys beat me to the punch. My wife has competed in WPD 4 times and each time they wanted something different. It’s to the point where it discouraging her to compete again. I can’t figure that Natalia / Sarah thing out… Natalia was clearly better this year.

Edit: although I will say this. Having seen several of Natalia’s routines, she’s not the best performer. I wonder if that played into it…

That’s a solid, massive top five in fbb, and with Andrea seated firmly at the top. Bigger is better!

And Brooke totally needs to upgrade to bodybuilding.
