Did you ever have a bad experience with a Fbb?

Feb 16, 2021 - permalink

I remember, one day i went to herbiepscam, i use free user, when i talked with a fbb named Angel1, she asked what we see on fbb's i responded that they look as fun peolple, she misundertand me and i thougth i insulted her...

Similarly, a FBB I won't name got livid and kicked me off the chat during a cam session after I asked whether she was stronger than her male SO (which I thought was a perfectly innocent thing to ask). I'm still not sure if she misread my question, or if she got me confused with someone else, cause I'm still sure my question didn't warrant that strong of a reaction.

On instagram, I have had my posts deleted or even been blocked for asking what turned out to be the wrong questions. I wasn't trying to be a jerk but apparently the questions were sensitive.

As one example, one muscle gal started bragging because she reached 40lbs on dumbbell bicep curls. I asked her if she was stronger than her boyfriend. Boom! comment deleted immediately. Next day there is a video of her boyfriend curling 45lbs (although, to be honest, struggling with it). So I am guessing she or boyfriend took offense at my question.

As another example, this muscle gal with bible quotes said she was getting muscles for Jesus. I asked her why Jesus cared if she had muscles, because I don't remember anything about muscles in the New Testament. Well, I got banned for asking that question. But I thought it was a legitimate question.

Their S.O.’s 100% scour Instagram comments and I’d assume apply pressure to delete ones they deem inappropriate

Once I Made comments following a joke a fbb publish on her Instagram, She inmediatly deleted it, She may be on Bad humor that day

Ha. Seems like a reasonable question to me. Will Jesus like her better with muscles? Is he one of us?

I mean....you guys DO REALIZE that the "are you stronger than your boyfriend" question probably gets asked dozens of times a day? I can only imagine how aggravating such generic and textbook questions are to them.

So I honestly don't blame them lol

It's also kind of a gross question because it's fetishizing the girl, regardless of the original intent. This whole "women are becoming stronger than men" thing is rife in communities like this and it's really dumb and creepy. Even exceptionally fit women are weaker than the vast majority of men so the odds of her being stronger than her boyfriend are very low. Then in the rare case where it's true (look at Taylor Stein, for example), you risk your question being interpreted as an insult for reasons that should be obvious. Just because you're paying a girl to get naked for you doesn't mean you have any sense of familiarity to get the benefit of the doubt if your questions seem "off". They're doing this to make money, not have rich social lives.

Agreed. I know quite a few fit women through my gym and competitions I competed at, and they tell me they hear that and variations of such over and over and over again. I doubt her deleting it has to do with her or her boyfriend finding offense, but rather her being annoyed at yet another dude being like "heh are you stronger than your man?

Also, the question about why Jesus would care if she had muscles is kind of lame.

As for my own experience, I have had only one bad experience with a female bodybuilder, and it wasn't really anything that involved me. We met through a mutual friend, and during a post-workout meal she kept going on far-right tangents: talking about the election being stolen, bringing up conspiracy theories (this was all unprompted, mind you. She found a way to insert a comment about the election when me and her friend were literally talking about what competitions we want to do next and whether we wanted to wait until the pandemic was over or not) and basically not allowing my friend and I to change the subject. That was probably the fastest lunch I ever had before I bolted out of there.

Wait, whoah, what?! Who is paying the girl to get naked? Not I. Just another voyeur among many on instagram.

And if I were paying the girl money, I'd expect her to play along with whatever damn questions I have (subject of course to whatever price she sets)

if any of you follows Kristina Moser (and also I guess You Look like a Man) on instagram they show plenty of comments that get people banned. myself, i'm usually blocked after dm conversations but I don't think I've ever been banned for a public comment. I've had a few boyfriends respond to my comment with the usual kind of response.

I think most recently was Janessa Hutt who I've known for a few days. I think she was actively limited or policing her comments so only her boyfriends were visible, because for a long time after they started dating his were the only comments I could see, and at least one of mine was removed. Then I was removed since I also bought videos form her and she no longer wanted to two things to intersect.

Taylor Stein and I chatted for a while but when her business picked up last year she kind of disappeared. She really disliked the attention and to my knowledge hasn't posted since.

Crossfit bodybuilder posted a picture of her and beastbuns together (this was I think 2 years ago when crossfit bodybuilder had stopped lifting for some reason or was not going to the gym very often)

I just wrote in the comments that beastbuns is looking a lot better than you and that you need to workout more to reach her level. I thought that was a harmless comment, just to motivate her to be more like beastbuns

Next thing I know, beastbuns commented that it was not nice if me to say. Her boyfriend commented that I do not know how much effort she puts in the gym and then crossfit made a comment which I couldn't read because she blocked me

yeah man...women hate that stuff lol just best to stay away from those comments all together. if i've learned anything as an adult, women hate being told what to do with their bodies because everyone hates that. paying a compliment is fine but saying, basically, wow you look like shit compared to her is not the way to a woman's heart. same goes for comparing a woman to themselves at any point. i made the mistake of saying something along those lines to lyndsay dejager and getting the banhammer.

just leave a nice compliment, don't make any comparisons or suggestions, be normal.

I asked April White after her boob job and subsequent lack of updates on IG if she was planning on downsizing to bikini as many post IFBB women tend to do that to mainstream and keep a more low maintenance body. I tried to be a polite and praising to a maximum schmoeness and the response was still "why the fuck would I do that?!" At first I was taken aback but she referred to herself as an alpha goddess and kind of relaxed as we talked but at first she was REALLY defensive about my question. FP909 is right about women being very sensitive to strangers being critical about their bodies. Shes a cool girl though I dont want to be too negative about her.

I really like the YLLaM Instagram page. It gives a good perspective on all the stupid comments and messages that women who lift get, ranging from the "you're so manly" comments to the schmoe-y nonsense like "omg can you beat me up I want to worship you". It was eye-opening for sure, and it even taught me that some of the comments that I myself have made in the past, while I thought were innocuous, were actually quite inappropriate, and it helped immensely with how to properly interact with women in general.

In other words, if you want to be successful with talking to muscular women, that page provides a good blueprint on what NOT to do.

I had the same revelation, although that stuff is a bit farther in the past. I had a bad habit of doing what Diggity did--either in a harmless question like "do you have plans to xyz" or a suggestion that they try upsizing (because it would fit neatly into my fetish) and tacitly saying that what they were wasn't good enough. There's a lot of stuff that has subtext I wasn't thinking about. Heck, I hate comparing myself to other people (life, career, relationships) and there is A LOT to compare, so applying that to other people...imagine you're getting dozens if not hundreds of messages like that ALL the time. Especially for y'all that are straight up leaving fetish questions out in the wild

Some of you guys really don't get it, to tell a girl she needs to work out more to catch up with someone thier in a pic with is just about the dumbest thing I've read. Even if it was being playful, to do that on a public platform..jeez

Agreed. My mouth dropped to the ground when I read that, and not just from the comment itself, but at the belief of “I thought it was a harmless comment, I made it to motivate her.”

Dude, you gotta get a clue. No athlete on the planet is going to be motivated by some random schlub saying something to the effect of “hey, your friend looks so much better than you!” That’s not how motivation works, and if you had any inkling as to how actual motivation works, you would know that comparisons is one of the biggest things that fucks with an athlete’s head. There are hundreds of articles from coaches and fitness professionals about how comparing your fitness progress to others is very demotivating and dangerous to your mental health, and there is even a whole saying devoted to it: “comparison is the thief of joy.” Congratulations on doing the one thing that many coaches say never to do.

Please tell me you learned from that astronomical blunder.

Some of you dudes are absolutely clueless, and it's hilarious lol

"Hey, you look like shit. Your friend's bigger. Go lift more" LOL

I don't comment on anyone's social media, but I'll say this. While it's true that some guys are clueless, I've also seen some pretty nasty replies to comments that shouldn't have bothered anyone. There are some women out there who have contempt for their fans, even at the same time they're using them to make money. And then you have the white knights who will ride in to try to curry favor with the woman. Do yourself a favor and get away from that craziness in a hurry.

Sound advice right here.

Last interaction (several years ago) with a FBB/muscle girl was between sets at adjacent squat racks. I merely asked her whether she was prepping for a powerlifting meet or bodybuilding show. She told me powerlifting. I wished her good luck and went back to my own workout.
