Lately when a new pic of Anna Mroczkowska goes up, I get 8 notifications for it. I have seen it happen for others but they don't seem to be as extreme and lately it's just happening for her posts. It's been going on for the past week. Not a big problem but mentioning it in case it's a side effect of something else that could become one.
I use a function that comes with the web framework to convert special characters to their Latin equivalents but it doesn't handle all characters, so I have to add some manually. I just added this one. The other one I've had to add is ø -> o.

That was actually caused by my fix above. Thanks for reporting it. Should work now.

I've noticed that some non Latin letters aren't correctly recognised by the search engine as the Latin equivalent.
Eg.: "Małkowska" should also be recognised a "Malkowska". These are two separate family names, but their English transcription should be the same.

It dies like this once a month or two, I haven't figured out why, but also haven't bothered to write a tool that automatically detects it.
