Lori Bowen in the cover of Women's Physique World

Mine was Lori Bowen, but it was a beer commercial with Rodney Dangerfield. When she lifted Rodney, even though it was obviously fake, I went insane. It was shortly after that that I saw my first WPW magazine with Krista Parr on the cover that I was hooked and have never been the same since.

For me I accidentally stumbled upon the Joanna Thomas Supersize She documentary when I was probably in middle school and the rest is history. I’ve never been more turned on in my life and was absolutely hooked to female bodybuilding. Yaxeni became my first crush along with Denise Masino, Heather Policky, and Annie Rivieccio. Colette Guinond was also legendary, followed by Alina Popa and Alesha Young. So many others have come since, especially the GOAT Andrea Shaw and Raluca Raducu, I’m just constantly in awe of what these women are able to accomplish and the masterpieces they build in the gym, this has become my favorite art form by far!

Same. Before then, my only image of muscular ladies came from late night ads for fitness machines or workout videos. Hot, but still within the realm of "normal". My mind was unable to comprehend the idea that women could get juiced up and compete in bodybuilding... until that Supersize She intro where the camera slowly pans across Joanna's body.

That blew my brain... I've been chasing the high ever since.

Except up that other way.

"Your Honour, I'd like the members of the jury to disregard my previous statement and the Court Registrar to note my appetite for PIV inside young Miss Lockwood".

What fried mine wasn't actually her bod, superbly sized though it is, but her single-mindedness. I absolutely dream of that obsessive fixation in a female mind, with something other than houses, fashion or Taylor.

That capacity to fixate on something most women don't, often at huge cost to her own private life, is...yum. It's truly one of the sexiest, boner-inducing traits a woman can possess.

I like some of the gym shots afterwards of her working out her biceps even more :) (Both are in this clip)

In mid 1980s UK a Saturday evening family TV show with Noel Edmonds did a Mr Puniverse skit and the award was handed out by Carolyn Cheshire...

Ha, is that this one here? https://youtu.be/ZoVfcjSX_LA?t=1764

I saw female bodybuilders beforehand, but my first realization of “man, I’m into this” was seeing Karla Nelson crushing a guy on Entertainment Tonight (yes, that Entertainment Tonight). I don’t know how Amazon Productions got into the show, but it kicked off a search for the Amazons Arena BBS and I’ve been a fan of muscular girls dominating guys ever since.

Same, she was in the issue of SI from ‘79 or ‘80 that many in this forum are familiar with.

Same. I was like 12 when I saw that documentary. Discovered AMG lite and came across Melissa Dettwiler, Cindy Phillips, Tonia Moore, Tina Zampa shortly after. Promised myself I would take up bodybuilding after that.

Its crazy she didn't qualify for the Olympia during that Doc. She was in incredible shape

Saw the music video for Heavy metal love from Helix back in 1983 or so. I was instantly hooked.

This one?

The model in that was Sandahl Bergman, who wasn't technically a FBB but a dancer who did fitness videos, and appeared as an actress in some of the Conan movies.

I think anyone with muscle should count for this thread. Most people's first turnons weren't bodybuilders.

I remember hanging out with a girl in my early preteens and her looking up "female bodybuilder" and scrolling through google images. First time I had seen women with real size like that. She asked me what I thought and I pretended to be weirded out. Looking back I am pretty sure she was into it too. From that moment and probably until the day I die, Heather Policky on stage hitting a lat spread will been burned into my brain.

You'd be shocked at how many women are secretly into female muscle, and all the side ventures it brings. As a young gay woman in the early 80's, I met a beginner level bodybuilder, and we hit it off. She had a huge collection of muscle magazines, and WPW videos. We spent hours drooling over those images, and each other. I actually got seriously turned on by the Mildred Burke pics, and later on the by the old time strong woman pics. It runs in our crowd to be wanting a mature, muscular woman dominating us in a bed. I have seen on many occasions, a woman in the gym feeling another's bicep, or just talking of her admiration of "muscle". As a long time observer of muscular women, I can tell you that once hooked, it stays with you. Today's muscle lovers have it easy, imagine Mildred Burke flexing being the high point of a decade! My phone is now the answer to my dreams...

I heard from a few people, it seems Mildred Burke was an eye opener for many. I know it got me firmly on the road to fantasizing about older, muscular women. I pictured feeling her biceps, and kissing her whole body. My partner in the early 80's had copies of every "early muscular woman" photo ever published. We've come a long way, and now AI is helping us fine tune our desires. As I got older, I want my fantasy women to be a little older than me, reinforcing the Dominance aspect. I can now get exactly what I want. These two pics really depict my journey in muscle worship...

The first I remember was British athlete and bodybuiler, Donna Hartley, seen here with her husband, Bobby Knutt, who was a comic and actor. I remember a double page colour spread appearing about them both in the early to mid 80s in the biggest circulation UK Sunday newspaper. In it, Bobby openly said that he loved how muscular his wife was and all that had to happen for him to go wild was to see her posing in her bikini. This was the first time I'd encountered someone else with the same sexual interests I had. Of course, I hid the magazine once it was destined for the rubbish once my parents had finished with it....
