The comments are even better than the video. How refreshing to see how normal people view steroid use, rather than the schmoes on here who just want women to take more and more and more.
I remember a thread here which was something along the line of : "Would you incite your girlfriend to start steroids" and there was a lot of positive answers, I was dumbfounded. It's like pressing your girl to take coke and MDMA because you enjoy partying. I like girls on tons of steroids (I don't know how to phrase this more elegantly) within the confine of the fantasy, but as an adult, to not realize how harmful that shit is is crazy to me.
Discussions like this aren't just about bodybuilding as a sport; they're also about gym culture itself. Over the past decade or so I've seen a lot more visibly enhanced women who don't compete and there is a taboo around even suggesting they aren't natty. Past a certain point it's just as obvious as a plastic surgery addiction. That 43 year old mother of two didn't get swolllen, striated, veiny pumpkin delts out of nowhere just from eating right and doing lateral raises.
I see this a lot. Most "coaches" are useless and understand so little of human biology. Most medical doctors only get one course in endocrinology unless they specialize in it. How all this works is largely unknown. The studies and data are out there, but it takes a lot of time to do your research. There is a right way and a wrong way to enhance one's self. You can do it with minimal side effects, minimal impact on cardiovascular and organ health. You can also run yourself into an early grave. Protection of one's reproductive system, especially with females, is a big challenge. I tell everyone - if you plan on trying for children at any point in the future you may need to strongly consider pushing the enhanced lifestyle until later in your life.
Anyone would do themselves justice listening to Hannah's story and giving it the attention it deserves. Biggest message here: you need to educate yourself on what you are doing. Ultimately it's you that pops the pills and puts the needle into your backside every day. You are responsible. So your own research - don't just take others for granted. And I always have a pile of references of females both active and inactive who you can personally call on the phone and anve a frank discussion on their journey with me. Talk about virilization, side effects, pros / cons. It is so much more meaningful hearing it from another woman and not a guy. Women need to talk to eachother more. Like Hannah said - this needs to be less taboo if anyone is serious about harm reduction. You can be reasonably jacked and be realtively healthy too. But it takes some knowledge.

You're seeing it through the default filter. Try sorting by "newest first". The assholes are there... Youtube is just giving them cover for whatever reason.

Well put.
TBH I was kind of underwhelmed by the video and the followup.
I do respect that she is coming clean about PED usage.
It's just that over the course of about 12 minutes of talking the only real information she says is "I have used PEDs and have experienced some of the commonly known side effects." She could have literally just said that one sentence, ended the video, and it would have been about the same.
There's a lot of important details that are missing that I think would be important, especially if I were a girl getting into bodybuilding and considering PEDs (which seems to be her target audience), like:

- What specifically was she lied to about when she initially decided to start using
- After how much usage did side effects become evident? What were the first side effects?
- Did she course correct? And if not, what specifically would she do differently if she could do it over?
- Which side effects are permanent and which go away over time once you get off PEDs?
- What is she on now?
100% agree
Ha, well I had high expectations after the praise in this thread and was disappointed to find 10 seconds of content alongside 12 minutes of fluff.
She seems new to making videos. Agreed she needs way more editing and more effort into planning all her talking points before the recording. I think this was a primer for hopefully more relevant content to come. Key points could have been all covered in 2 minutes:
The pain on her face and in her voice seemed sincere to me. This is clearly a person who regrets getting in this deep but now she is addicted and can't get out.
Now she needs to take all that - and build off it.

Everyone using this site is a schmoe, you included! 🤣 Stop with the sanctimonious, patronising, preachy nonsense. She made her choices. Got bad advice. Learned from it. But still intends to compete, ironically. She's an adult. Hopefully she learns from her mistakes and can reverse some of the damage caused before it becomes irreversible.
I doubt anyone here wants anyone to harm themselves. But it is rife in the industry and we all know it is. Just because we know it is rife doesn't mean we want those we admire to hurt and harm themselves. Although we also recognise that there is a risk of this to achieve certain results or looks.
My view which you probably won't like is that it is a fact of life that people are using. So there should be easily accessible research to help guide people who want to use (to achieve certain results) to help avoid causing irreparable harm to themselves. There should be access to qualified clinicians and a body of research. But because there are so many people like you this is unlikely to happen anytime soon. In the meantime people will continue to use without any good guidance.
Just saying 'it's wrong, don't do it', and making it illegal doesn't really help those who are going to do it anyway. A bit like the Nancy Reagan anti drug campaign in the 80's. All the while the govt and CIA were supporting the cocaine and drug trade covertly. As the USA fell deeply into a crack epidemic that destroyed countless lives. More recently the same shit happened with opioids. The hubris of your position is laughable.
Consider this:
1) People need to hear this from a women.
2) It’s a video for people who might not know what steroids do to women in the first place.
We forget that the average person/newbie isn’t going to have the same questions an experienced fitness enthusiast or bodybuilder would have. This is a fine starting point, especially for women who were considering dipping their toe in the pool.
No I'm not, loser. That's why I call them out. The ones who want women to turn into ugly men, women to go way too far with roids. My point is that this site is full of those extreme people, whereas real life isn't.
That's not what a schmoe is.
According to Wikipedia, "In bodybuilding culture, 'schmoe' refers to a less muscular individual who pays bodybuilders for private posing sessions, wrestling, or even prostitution. This term, sometimes spelled 'schmuck,' is a pejorative used to describe someone who takes advantage of bodybuilders for their own gratification."

Time for a ban again, I guess. I probably wouldn't have banned you without the "loser" but you just couldn't resist, huh?
Let's go with 6 days this time, up from your previous 3.

This is a good, short watch. I think it's very refreshing how honest she is here, and I'm quite surprised at how many views it's (the vid) already received in such a short time. It must be making the rounds on other platforms as well.
Are there some of you who are shocked? No surprise? Should more bodybuilders be open and honest? Is she taking a huge risk here?
