I think it’s very telling that most people haven’t been to a show and don’t plan to in the future.
Are y’all afraid of getting caught/recognized on video or photos? It's not like your friends and family will see those. If most FBB fans actually went to shows, then they wouldn't have removed women's bodybuilding, women's physique and figure from the Arnold Classic and other local shows.

I would say yes, in my part i am.
Hi everyone i’m going to my first FBB show in a week!! Any advice for me?
Update: I went to the show and it was amazing!!! Better than I could have anticipated. First off, the competition was great, all the competitors looked good on stage, but that wasn’t the highlight. Mid way through the show, on the way to the bathroom, I bumped into one of the judges. She was so muscular, I think only recently stopped competing. We ended up chatting and taking a quick flexing video🤯 (I was dying). I saw her again post show and we took another flexing pic. After the show i also met some of the competitors and took pics with them. My favorite competitors only (they were all super nice and open to taking pics, even taking their time with it). All in all, had a great time, took some memorable pics, and met some amazing ladies! #10/10
I'm in Europe, and would like to go to a show over here sometime in the next year. Maybe Empro or Mr. Big.
I'm a bit self conscious about it though and feel I would stand out as a middle-aged male attending alone.
I would like to see some competitive fbb though. I wouldn't particularly feel the need to approach any ladies for a photo I don't think. Though if I felt the vibe was ok maybe I'd change my mind.
I'm not muscular myself but fit and sporty.
Do people in my demographic attend these events and can you blend in ok without looking like a creep?

Do not focus completely on the show, make it comfortable for yourself - as if you are on a weekend trip. If you have the chance, check in to the hotel, where the athletes stay.
do something nice the day before the show (maybe there is a museum, or an art event close by).
check the schedule of the show - there are so may division, you dont wanna miss yours. Also, there is sometimes a meet and greet, where you can get selfies and signed pictures
Workout in the hotel gym: makes you fit and happy yourself and maybe you are next to a fbb working out or posing in front of the mirror
mingle with the staff and other visitors - makes you feel more like home, and less of an outsider. The bodybuilders often stick to themselves. Maybe you are lucky and get in touch with a relative of a competitor.
Ask if there is an after show event: those events are usually very relaxed, and the girls much more approachable than before the show. And lots of them come in red-carpet outfit.
Stay the day after the show: fotoshootings are often on that day in the hotel area. Grab a coffee and watch it.
If you see any athlete in distress or missing something, kindly ask if you can help. The least that you will get is a smile and "thank you".
Which show are you watching btw?

I will be attaneding Alina Popa Pro: FBB the only Pro event - so likelyhood that you meet a fan or two focused on that sport is as high as it gets in Europe. Get in touch if you plan to go there, and lets grab a beer.
Would love to attend more shows and eventually the Olympia sometime. Would be cool to have some folks to go with and hang out before as well.
If this is planned way ahead - and a group o fans would be coming - I would even consider flying in too, although it costs a fortune the long trip.
For a group there is always an option to rent a house or an apartment, and add some activities around the date (rafting in the grand canyon, helicopter flight, watching a football game ... ). Better value for money.

Hello! I'll be attending Alina Popa Pro also! It's gonna be my first ever pro FBB show. Do You want to exchange some messages about in private?

Excellent, sounds like a fun time.
One of the pro´s of these shows is that the competitors are all over the place. Its almost impossible not to bump into them.
WOS Bukarest Pro twice, London Pro Show twice, Pro Show in Slovakia twice, countless local shows in Austria and Germany.
