Yea it can be handy a lot of these platforms got annoying so it's hard to find their profile with Google. most of them only got Instagram and TikTok and Twitter (why are they so popular it's shit) . but it's cool when they are on YouTube or reddit or something more obscure like a lot of Russian fbbs use that vk thing.
I see this idea floating around often, and I understand the utility behind the idea; it just seems like it could backfire hard in practice. Just looking at the comments on some pics its clear some folks don’t know how to behave.
If social links were integrated directly then alot of these women are gonna get unwanted attention sent directly to their page. There are already quite a few who are blacklisted and it seems this is by their own request even without their socials being directly linked. I guarantee that increases if socials are attached to profiles.
Call me old fashioned, but i think its perfectly serviceable to just search a name up on google/ig if you get that curious. At least then that tends to select for people with some form of social media etiquette. Otherwise, we can expect the lowest common denominator of comment on this site to appear directly to the women here; thats not particularly good for them or our site members.
I think the types of people who are gonna give the women unwanted attention are gonna google them anyway, a link isn't really gonna make much of a difference
I agree 100%. Sorry if this is redundant because I've made this point before, but these women are running a business. If they see this site as a referral source for their instagram and onlyfans income, then the profit motive would probably override their perception of this site being a boys club for fapping 90% of the time. They know that we follow their socials to fap. They are not oblivious to that fact. The difference with this site is that I imagine they see it as a site that is depriving them of income rather than bringing in income the way the socials do.
I know we don't have anywhere near the subscriber numbers that social media has, but with the dedication/obsession some have for muscle content, the attach rate for users here to buy their services would be much higher than instagram. Look at the thousands of forum comments seeking OnlyFans recommendations here.
Can you google this info? Sure, but that doesn't help the site and is inconvenient for the users. People tend to stop using websites if the info they want is more than one click away. If this info was on the site, maybe it shows up higher in Google searches for that info, and we get more users. And some people post the social links on a picture, but that is just one picture out of hundreds so most of us will never see it. Makes no sense to me. It would make more sense to link to the socials directly, imo.
Also, just curious, has anyone asked these women who blacklist themselves why they made that decision? And if there is anything that can be done to keep them here? The blacklist is getting pretty large. If too many more women blacklist, it's going to get to a point where users here leave because a significant portion of their favorites are gone.

I never asked a model who asked to be blacklisted why they did so, but I would speculate as to a few possible reasons:
They hire offshore managers/management companies who scour the net flagging copyrighted content, and they incorrectly flag content here for copyright even though it's freely available. The bodybuilder/model who hired them typically doesn't know about it, and isn't really interested in correcting the error.
They want to consolidate their content exclusively with certain platforms to establish better control of where their content can be accessed, and GWM might not be one of them.
In the case of lesser-known athletes, or those who aren't interested in influencing or really in being a public figure, they may not like having their content on a site where guys fetishize their muscles. Not every buff woman wants their body fetishized, and while they obviously can't stop people from, well, getting arousal from them, they don't want their stuff on a forum devoted to that, which can also lead to:
Some socially inept doofus(es) might find their socials, write something cringy and creepy, trace it back to us, and ask to be blacklisted. I am also willing to bet that is the case when socials are suddenly locked down and privated.
They see public comments that encourage them to ask to be blacklisted. I don't know if this is causation or correlation, but there was a picture of Sarah Crail and her boyfriend/husband, and the half the comments were just needlessly dogging on the guy, and shortly after her stuff was gone. We can't be too surprised that trashing her partner would be a bad look.

Thanks for the detailed response. I agree with all your possible reasons, but there might be other factors too. Maybe ask them in the future and see what their concerns are.
The management meddling sounds like a growing problem. I think your 2nd point about these women trying to consolidate their content is right on and supports my argument in a way. I do some limited marketing for my work. And in sales, there is the concept of a sales funnel, where you are bringing in people to your site (or social) from different advertising and referral sources. Once they land on your page, you try to capture their info and hopefully their business. If we linked their socials, or a linktree link, I feel like GWM could be an informal part of that sales funnel that would help grow their following and sales. That way the site can keep more of the top tier women and some of them might become verified to engage with our users. A few women have already done this.

On the first point: I don't think it's really any of our business exactly WHY a bodybuilder/athlete asks to be blacklisted from the site. Unless it's a managerial action that might be a false positive for copyright infringement, it's probably a personal reason that they want to keep private. I think the mods do a great job of respecting the ladies and making sure that posters behave when commenting on an actual human being. What I'm trying to get at is it's better to be proactive, which is what the mods are doing, versus reactive, because it can turn into one of those cases where if we do get feedback on why they chose to blacklist themselves, it might either be something that can't be corrected, or something that will shift the functions and culture of the site to accommodate one (or few) people.
To your second point, I don't think a whole lot of bodybuilders/influencers are going to get a lot of business with this as a kind of referral page that links to their socials (with herbiceps cam sites and videos being an exception since they are a sponsor.) I mean this with no shade thrown towards people who browse and comment on this site, but my impression is that with a few exceptions (and they know who they are,) most people on here are only looking for free content. They're not interested in financially supporting the women that they follow. Hell, how many times in the forums and chat do you see people asking for free content? They are probably going to get little in return, which is normally better than nothing, but the tradeoff is that they might get a LOT of people with poor social skills acting creepy with how they comment and DM, in which case they will feel that it wasn't worth the hassle.
Would it be possible to add social media links onto the women's profiles to make it easier to find their pages on different sites, similar to how there's a link to a HerBiceps profiles etc?
