I just remembered that Alla Semyonova, one of the best competitors I have ever seen in the Bikini category (IFBB), is Ukrainian.

Removed some comments. Contrary to what Chainer assumed, this thread will very much devolve into shit-flinging if the topic isn't kept to FBB's in the region, or at least general humanitarian topics. If you want to debate the merits of the Russian invasion of Ukraine find somewhere else, this isn't really a general-purpose discussion board.

Hi everyone Actually, I’m Russian and live in Russia. Being fan of this web site for some time but registered to write this. Ukraine was (and still is) a brother for Russia as every single Ukrainian knows Russian language and we have similar heritage. Our nationalities are very close. But it’s a nightmare what now happens. The thing is that no one in Russia supports the war. Wrote this so people from other countries don’t think like Russian began the war. It is our politic leaders who began it, but no one in our country even thought of a possibility of what actually happened. It was very sudden. Hope it’ll soon end

I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Please be careful.

I'm watching UK, German and French news, and they're all making sure to say that this is Putin's war, not Russia's war. They report on protests in Russia. It's ok, dude. We know 👍

I'm so glad you are pointing out that being for Ukraine does not mean being against the Russian people. The Russian people are not for this war. This all can be laid at the feet of Putin. History will judge him accordingly. I also look forward to a Nuremberg-like trial for him, so he can be sentenced.

It's bloody tragic that one insane moron is able to destroy the dreams of a whole nation. And if genocide in Ukraine wasn't bad enough, he also completely ruined his own country inside a week.

Also, if you can, Ukrainians do need your support. There are plenty of ways you can donate, or send food, blankets and so on from most of the world. Even a small donation helps. Just make sure that you're doing this through a confirmed organization, not a Nigerian prince.

FYI I have been deleting the more political comments and am looking for this thread to continue going in a "how to support Ukrainians" direction (especially FBBs, that being the focus of this site).

As a Ukrainian/American I am grateful to this community for speaking out in supporting Ukraine during this very difficult time.
