All good answers. Even the ones anticipating doom gave me an idea of what I could expect.
The reason why I asked is because I think I picked out a favorite, based on what I think a champ should look like, but of course my opinion is heavily laden with bias. Then I tried to imagine that I had a relationship with the person (like good friend, fellow gym mate, those kinds of things) and how I would react if my favorite wasn't recognized.
With that being said, I have my favorite but really they are all so close to perfect I think it is impossible to pick a winner.
thing is unlike other sports there is so much subjectivity.
Looking at the WPD olympia there is a pretty big camp in each of the placings who though they should have been first or second (myself, I think Brooke Walker should have placed second and even first, though i understand maybe they wanted a bit more conditioning).
politics is huge, and i always heard lots of rumors about girls having to sleep with some judges for placings or favors or whatever.
the coaching wars is so funny to me too.

I agree that some of the women who enter bodybuilding competitions would sleep with the judges in order to win the competition or place near the top.
Yikes, this has the potential to be a total shit show of a thread...
Comments like this annoy me. You may be right but even so there is no use in prematurely declaring a thread to be a "shitshow", and by posting a comment like this you are helping to turn it into that. Instead actually contribute something helpful to it, or don't post at all.
Carry on... and please no one respond to this comment, I am just explaining for future reference why I deleted the two comments above, and what not to do in the future.

I'm a cynical person by nature, but I'm having trouble resolving this. There is a pic of Sunny Andrews holding up a gigantic check of her prize money for 3rd place. Just looking at her, I find it hard to believe she had to resort to any sort of foul play to win it. I know that's nowhere near any kind of logical deduction, but I am gonna go with my instincts on this.
I guess I am missing something here. What in this pic suggests that they defeated drug testing? What do you guys see that I am not considering?
Yes seriously. I did say I did not know anything about these competitions. Back up your argument. Describe.
Ok, let me rephrase. What do you see that has convinced you that they are obviously on PEDs? Be specific.
These are the types of arguments people use to discredit competitors that they don't like (favoritism, bias). It's called smear and retreat. Make an accusation and avoid the responsibility of backing it up. Certainly not worth my time either.
Assume I don't know a thing about these competitions, because I don't.
