Welp....like I and many others feared, she'll have little to know muscle. Calves aren't too bad I guess

I was hoping she'd look a bit more like the lady from that Universal Studios ride. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcl1ZVVB8ok

Well, that's disappointing. What a letdown!

Disappointing but not surprising.

I've equally been looking forward to this and worried about it. This is kind of what I expected but I hoped they'd actually make her at least somewhat muscular. This is still just a very very quick shot and maybe it will actually be better but I doubt it.

Strange decision seeing as female Thor will have muscle. Maybe it's a reaction to the backlash Suddenly Muscular Teela* got in that Netflix He-Man cartoon not about He-Man

*steroids not included BUT with a hint of pandering lesbianism

Modern movies always manage to disappoint.

A couple of relevant trailers. I wouldn't say that she's lacking in muscle. It's actually more than I was expecting (see Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman). Her delts are prominent, and I've seen a pic where her abs are visible through her suit. So it's not just the legs. Basically she looks like a woman who seriously works out and doesn't dose. I think if she was any bigger than this it would probably be negatively received by the average viewer (see Abby memes/criticisms from The Last of Us 2).

I'm a little disappointed but we should be patient. Every superhero show seems to hold off showing the hero in their full costume until the last episode (which is dumb). They aren't going to show a big reveal now. I just hope it's funny.

Fear of said criticisms is stupid considering she’s a FUCKIN HULK.

Ya shes supposed to be a monster, not a princess

If by "monster" you mean a hyper veiny, mountain-sized FBB type, that's incorrect.

While her cousin The Incredible Hulk is a huge monster, that look is not the endresult for others who get a dose of Gamma radiation.

Over the decades, She-Hulk's mass and shape have varied, and she did transform from time to time into more massive looks.

However, her usual appearance is a hybrid of a slender, really tall, green-skinned woman, and a Bikini athlete complete with bolted on big, fake breasts.

For now, they went with her usual look, but it's possible that somewhere down the line her transformation will lead to a bulging, mass monster

I was getting Who Framed Roger Rabbit vibes from that promo. Extra cartoony.

Maybe someday down the line we'll get this version of her in the MCU...but I wont be holding my breath\

Y'all are harping so much about the muscles, you forget how she got so popular in the first place. The character had class, was witty and charming, and was a damn good lawyer, all of which made her much more personable than the Hulk.

Her being big is nice and all, but remember she still has to interact with other characters in a courtroom i.e. keeping her cool, so being a "monster" wouldn't quite work.

Well, that’s Disney for you today. They have dipped way too far into politics and this “new culture “.

Bottom line She Hulk should look quite muscular maybe not insane biceps and all but have great definition in muscles which I don't see.

Yeah, don't expect anything beyond MVC3 type of physique

There's only two types of huge FBBs you will ever see in a movie/TV show. Either a villain who surrounds themselves with jacked-up female bodybuilders or a comedy where it's like "surprise, you picked up a female bodybuilder at the bar when you thought she was just a regular lady! What a laugh riot!"

They could have chosen a FBB who has class, is witty and charming, and has muscle though. Someone like Isabelle Turell would have been perfect. She’s a natural for the role and is very well spoken and has a great sense of humor.

I'd rather watch a show with a talented actress with an average build than one starring a bodybuilder with little to no acting experience. I'm not saying this show is Shakespeare, but it isn't community theatre either. Plus we don't know what the plan is for this version of the character, it could be that she grows bigger later on.

@loozer can't they just use cgi to make the actress look way more muscular than she actually is irl
