Terminology for Those Who Attracted to Girl With Muscle

Oct 07, 2021 - permalink

Is there a good terminology that describes those who are attracted to GWM?

I heard "schomes". This is not good word. You can call yourself in a session or private room with your wife/ girlfriend but not to describe yourself around people. Also schome only fit specific type of those who attracted to GWM.

We may create new one that is more general and appropriate.

So you're looking for a word that is used strictly within the community?

Yes at least for now. Maybe in the future it will become common to describe us.

You already know the answer.

Can't find the first terminology on the interwebs. What's the literal translation of Shtenolagnist(s) to English?

I tend to use musclepreciation or musclephile,

Whatever it is, it should roll off the tongue. Say what you will about "schmoes", but it's catchy.

Schmoe refers specifically to those who do the muscle worship sessions and wrestling, no?

I'm attracted to GWM, but to me I wouldn't be satisfied unless I went all the way with a FBB. To me that's all foreplay, so I dunno where I'd end up terminology wise.

I don’t consider session wrestling to be a “schmoe” thing. Rather, I think schmoe is more of the way that a guy who is into buff women comes across. I have heard from many a muscular women who say that they don’t mind, and even are flattered, when guys are attracted to them. However, they hate schmoes, and by schmoes, they mean the dudes who approach them with practically no social grace or awareness. I kind of find it funny that a lot of dudes here say that it’s hard to chat with muscular women, or if they see them around they are too nervous to approach them. It’s really not that hard, because all the creeps that say stupid shit to them have set the bar so low that having average social skills will go so much further than you realize.

Also, and this is going to sound super judgemental (sorry in advance,) but think schmoes can also be referred to guys who themselves don’t lift or work out. I read an interview of Heather Armbrust years ago where she says she doesn’t mind “schmoes,” but that if you are attracted to buff women and want a shot with them, then to “at least pick up a fucking weight.” You don’t need to be a bodybuilder, but you should also be living a fit lifestyle.

I bet it would get old to have schlubby guys randomly going up to them thinking they can go ahead and touch their muscles.

I love GWM all the way up to roided out monsters, but even then it's more about fantasizing about making out with them and spending the night than wrestling and lift and carry and whatnot.

Maybe, but it would depend on the woman. Some are extroverted and love the attention, while others are introverted and have their own reasons for not liking it.

I don't mind being called a "schmoe". I know that how it pertains to attraction to female bodybuilders isn't the original definition of that word, at least according to the standard dictionary; it was supposed to refer to someone boring or stupid. So that word doesn't really offend me. Also, I don't really care much about what other people think about my tastes, so being called a schmoe in the current sense doesn't have that much of an effect of me.

A word that I do have a problem with is "simp". That's what people use to make fun of others that worship a certain person or put them on a pedestal, most often a woman, and it can apply to situations outside of muscle worship. More specifically, it's been used by many to make fun of people that subscribe to a woman's Onlyfans site, or other porn site. I hate this term, because it doesn't really offend the person that subscribes to such content (even though it may be targeted to that being), but rather the model that makes the content that is being purchased. As if the guy is a complete loser for pouring money on a total whore for her smut material, and the woman should get a real job other than modeling or being on OF and taking men's money.

If you don't want to waste your money on someone's pics or videos, that's your choice. It's a capitalist system, and you can spend your money the way you want, just like how others can spend theirs on someone's OF if they desire. But the word "simp" being used to belittle those that do the latter has just become really annoying and irritating, and it really insults the women (or men) that are just trying to make an honest living by making their own content and selling it. As if they don't deserve to be compensated for their work, or even receive appreciation for it.

OK, that's all I have to say about that. Rant over. I now await all of your heated, snarky, and sarcastic counterpoints (and I definitely do welcome them).

(also a good possibility I might regret this post in the near future)

I don't think that you said anything that you should regret. I've never heard the term "simp". However, I've known people who literally threw tens of thousands of dollars into online porn and in one case, it cost him his marriage. I'd call that guy an "addict" or "sick", not because of his preferences, but because of his compulsion.

Also: I think that women who build their career with online porn are making a very, very poor decision - - and for several obvious reasons. So, as a judgmental person, I'm not really ok with that and I would encourage better life choices. But I would never fault her for taking anyone else's money. That is not her doing or her responsibility and as PT Barnum said, "there's a sucker born every minute".

I get what you're saying about people who are seriously addicted to porn and spend ALL their money on it. Those people do have have a problem, and they should not let it control their lives. Those people do need help, I can definitely agree. But there are also people who are financially stable and able to lead normal lives and careers, and still subscribe to said models' content, while not letting it affect their lives negatively. Some of them are still called simps for even just spending just one dollar on a porn site or a model's content.

And you're definitely not the only one who has a negative opinion about women who have careers in porn. I understand and respect your opinion; you're definitely free to feel that way about them. And you may have some life advice for them, but many of these adult actors and models are able to make a great living financially and lead a happy life for themselves. So we shouldn't be really judgmental about the line of work that they pursue; as long as they contribute to our free market system, in a healthy and legal manner, we shouldn't really have a problem with it. My point was that people that call others simps are really bashing the women that do this work for a living, as if they don't deserve any appreciation or recognition (not from everyone, though), even though it's targeted at the people that consume the content. But I understand and respect your viewpoints.
