Muscle Growth Stretch Marks

Feb 16, 2021 - edited Feb 16, 2021 - permalink

Stretch marks from muscle growth are incredibly common in men, and basically ubiquitous in mens bodybuilding. They are most common on the outer pecs, but can appear anywhere else. Yet this seems to be much rarer in women. Plenty of women here have stretch marks from pregnancies, but that doesn't count.

Even women who clearly use high PED doses just never seem to have this problem, even if other side effects (acne, voice deepening, jawline widening) appear.

I don’t know if this is because women just don't get as large as men, are inherently more resistant to stretch marks due to biology, both, or something else.

So, post your examples here! I'm sure they exist somewhere.

Edit: It took some digging, but I finally found some. Tiffani Whitman has them on her shoulders here, but the marks are gone in later pics. Probably treated them or photoshopped them out

These are surprisingly hard to find. But I dug more and prevailed.

Quite a big one on her right lat, and stripes on her left delt.

I never knew Shanique Grant had any! Actually hers (on delts) are quite pronounced. Usually black women don't have as much of an issue, but no avoiding it if you're her.

Some more:

Stretch marks middle of pecs are rare even for men, but I somehow found an example on a woman. Probably caused partly by her boob job in addition to muscle growth:

Stretch marks are incredibly sexy, especially on an ass/booty/glutes, and also legs/quads/calves. When a woman squats heavy to grow her legs and butt naturally, she will get those tiger marks on her glutes, and you can tell that it's real and naturally built. Exhibit A is Charlotte J Connell:
