Flores Campos has 6 pages of pics but how was she pinned under “hidden gems”?

It might have been an unnamed pic that received its name AFTER it was pinned to "hidden gems."

At the time the image was pinned, it was under the name "Flores Neide Campos," which sets it apart from the other images of just "Flores Neide." Someone else changed the name back later. It's kind of an exploit, and you'll know who is doing it based on the uploader pinning their own images constantly, with a slightly different name in place each time (like if they changed Anastasia Leonova to "Anastasia Leonorva"), or sometimes they delete the name altogether.

Does anyone else enjoy finding older unnamed images of women who are prominent? I just pinned one of Jennifer Adkisson from years ago that was unnamed. Cool feature.

Either I'm crazy, or the same thing is happening with Blue_j88 at the moment...

Until a fix is implemented, this is always going to be a problem. "blue_j88" is being treated the same as someone with just a first name, like "Alice." So the only way around that is to give her a second part to her name. Since I don't know what her name is, I'm just going to rename her images to "Blue (blue_j88)."

Looking at the comments on a picture, I do believe that SHE requested to be listed under her IG name here (which used to be blue_j88. Now Thighsenburg) I do often see pictures where the name is "locked". I would think that's a great way to prevent this from happening as well, but I don't know how work intensive that is for mods, and what the requirements for locked names are...

I'm trying to pin a picture of Jeong Ji Hye, who has exactly 25 images, but the button doesn't show up. What could be the reason? Is the limit '25 or more'? Or maybe there is a pic in the waiting list, which is not visible, but already added to those 25?

I deleted an image under her name to bring it down to 24, and the pin feature still doesn't work. The rule should still be "no more than 25" (or less than 26, or less than or equal to 25). And I restored the deleted image, of course :)

I think the issue might be tied to the fact that her name has 3 parts to it. Chainer has been fixing bugs in the revised way that the site searches names, so this could be another bug related to that.

Ruth Jean Wood and Ashley Tomaseski Egerton also have 3-part names, and both were recently pinned, so I guess it has to be something else.

I have noticed that images uploaded by me are sometimes pinned by another user (and vice versa). Is it too complicated for this to show up in notifications, so that the pinner and the uploader get notified of the pin?

I don't see why the pinner should get notified as they ought to be aware they just did the pinning, but the uploader could be notified.

I could have stated all that better. I'll try again. The pinner is notified when the pin expires, along with a count of any additional likes. If the pinner is not the original image uploader, the image uploader never knows of the initial pinning action or the results of the pin, unless they happen to notice an increase in likes for that particular image or see that the image is pinned by the other user.
