How big can a steroid free fbb be?

I guess there’s a trade off between being big and being shredded if not on any steroid. Can someone give some big girls most likely not on gear? I only know Anna Sophia Rye looks clean and huge, not shredded, which I admire her hard work and gene. Maybe Natasha aughey?

Kristy Hawkins back when she was bodybuilding.

Hard question to answer. There is so much dishonesty about drug use in the fitness industry that it’s pretty hard to know who is really natural when they claim to be natural. That, and “enhanced” bodies are almost always going to have the most Instagram followers, or the greatest exposure on sites like this. There are plenty of fit men and women out there who are natural, but since their physiques are not anywhere near as “impressive” as enhanced bodies are, they get kind of tucked in the corner. It’s a kind of survivorship bias.

Jennifer Hudy is someone who I think is a very fit natural athlete. Been following her for awhile, and she was actually once of the people who got me interested in doing crossfit in the first place

Also, Natasha Aughey isn’t natural. No fucking way.

A steroid free bodybuilder? Not very big. At all. When she shreds down she will lose a good portion of the muscle she spent her off season building up. So yes, she might get decently big in the off season, but I wouldn't expect much bigger than a bikini competitor in terms of lean muscle mass (regardless of how much fat she may or may not put on). You may have some anomalies who can push themselves a little further than that, but not by much.

And this is pretty much the bottom line. You will never know whether someone is truly natural or not unless you know them and train with them. And as far as those who claim to be natty, what's to stop them from dosing just a little bit? Are we to lump them into the same category as the most roided out hardcore bodybuilders just because they're not 100% natty? Where is the line drawn in this case?

A damn site smaller than most people probably think. Cause even the smallest bikini competitors are often on Anavar

I remember Johanna Dejager always claimed she was natural. Not sure I fully believe that, but she retained all of her feminine features and voice through it all. In the end I think most are on PEDs in some form.

Maybe like this

i think steroids did even not exist in her time.

Most of girls in this site are using some enhancing substance, like 97% of them. Even someone like Carolyne Marquez claims to be natural, that is plain ridiculous. And nor Natasha nor Kristy are natural, no freaking way.

Also, hard to know what "big" means. Sometimes "big" is used to mean "shredded."

Bodybuilding is a kind of illusion where developed quads and delts make the waist look smaller. Most pictures of FBBs show the subject alone, but when standing next to a man, most are really not that "big."

Echoing what some people have said above, but, absent PEDs, it is biologically impossible for the average woman to get “big”. Testosterone is a fundamental requirement for building muscle - without it, even genetically-gifted women won’t get anywhere fast. My fiancée, who’s been a lifelong triathlete and is far stronger than the average for her weight class, is smaller than pretty much every woman who graces the front page of this site.

Certain conditions, like poly-cystic ovary syndrome, can cause hormonal imbalances that result in heightened testosterone levels and increased muscle mass. Barring those, there’s a reason why practically every single muscular woman on this site is juicing at some level.

Triathletes are usually on the skinny side, not the best example to compare in this context.

Maybe Natasha Aughey?

Natasha Aughey is definitely on steroids, and has been for quite some time. There's nothing wrong with that; she looks incredible on them.

The truth is that steroid/PED use is rampant in bodybuilding at all levels. Even the bikini girls are on juice. All of the fitness and strength competitive sports (powerlifting/crossfit/cycling/triathons/decathalons/rowing etc.) are also totally infested with PEDs.

So she trains seven days a week and is natural? There is no way that a natty lifter can have no rest days and still make gains. That sounds very sus

Yeah she is natural she was very lean like 55kg before lifting she's around 78kg big shoulders and pecs but not much size in legs

Big and strong, but fat. Big lean muscles only with roids.

It's also important to consider that whenever someone is making the some form of capital off of their physique, they are almost certainly taking something to maintain that physique/image. You want trophies as competitive bodybuilder? Better get on something to keep up with the rest of the pack.

Are you a fitness/bodybuilder influencer with a brand sponsorship? Congrats, the money you make is now completely dependent on your physique, so now you're on a little bit of PEDs to make sure you look fantastic and train hard year round.

You want to be competitive as a Crossfit athlete and win prizes? You might want to take something for fast recovery, since you're essentially breaking your body 24-7 to train up to a competition.

All that to say, the VAST majority of any athletes we see on this site are on something, for the simple reason that there is very little downside, and a whole bunch of benefits. The average joe outside of the fitness community doesn't know left from right when calling out steroid use unless you look particularly massive or masculine, so all you have to do is dodge regulations and prying eyes, which is likely much easier to do than people anticipate.

I know exactly who you are talking about, and I HIGHLY doubt she is natural. There is a better chance of George RR Martin finishing the last “A Song of Ice and Fire” books than of her being natural

I have spoken quite extensively with her as she lives relatively close by and she has mentioned that steroids are not off the agenda but she hasn't taken them as yet and if u knew her before lifting there is no way she can be anything other than lean with her body type no matter what she eats she will never be overweight even if she never touched a weight
