I can notice some men are very intimidated talking with me for the first time - it's not so common to meet muscular woman :) But from my perspective I like to be treated like a normal person, building muscles are just my passion :)
Nowadays, I think a lot of men are intimated by attractive women in general. Most guys pickup women online whether it be a dating app or instagram, because they're too afraid to approach them in person. I have to admit I have become too reliant on the internet as well and need to get back to meeting women the old fashioned way.
We have it too easy and as the saying goes, easy times creates weak men. I fear we might be losing our edge. Not passing judgement, just an observation.
In general, I don't see any reason to be intimated by a muscular woman. It's not like they're going to start attacking you for no reason.

Never expected to hear real life experiences of female bodybuilders. Thanks for sharing.
Not a bodybuilder but a muscular dude. A couple times when I was at metal concerts I would get comments like "Damn, I wouldn't want to piss you off!"
I box casually, but I don't consider myself as someone who has the skills to be dangerous in a fight. There is some misconception that having muscles means you can fight, and that's not true at all. Maybe it's because I'm around muscular men and women pretty frequently, but I don't find them intimidating.
I think sheer size is probably more intimidating. An NFL offensive lineman is more intimidating than a 5'11 bodybuilder.
Is it true that normal people are intimidated when they come across bodybuilders? Like, what's the normal reaction when an average male sees a female bodybuilder for the 1st time? Will he feel intimidated?
The other aspect I've wanted to know is, Do bodybuilders (females especially as this site is dedicated towards them) intimidate average males? or they're simply polite and friendly and want people to look past the muscles?
Any clues or suggestions anyone?
