It's great reading how everyone discovered their attraction to muscular females. For as long as I can even remember, I was enamored seeing a girl with muscles in her arms. Way back then, it was also very rare, so seeing a girl with biceps was quite an experience for me. Then as luck would have it, I soon realized my younger sister had biceps. Like a mad scientist, I encouraged her to to be proud of her muscles, even rigging up a weight set out of cinder blocks, for her to workout. My mom always poked fun of her arms and couldn't understand why my sister's muscles were getting bigger 🤣. She soon made her wear long sleeve tops and my sister got very discouraged. My sister had a huge crush on my best friend and what soon happened, changed her outlook. He came over one day while my mom was at work and Barbara, my sis had just finished doing her curls with the cinder blocks. I can still see my friend's expression when he came into my room and saw her in her little tank top. Her arms were super pumped and Mike just started gushing how cool her arms looked. He had to literally beg her to flex because she felt embarrassed and was shy around him. Then she flexed her right arm and my friend went nuts. He just kept squeezing her bi and running his hands along her buffed arms, raving about how hard they were and how cool they felt. Now HE was the one who had a big crush on her. Now she got more confidence and was proud of her arms. In high school she was a boy magnet because of her muscles....just the opposite of what my mom tried to make her believe. I went on a lifelong search to find and date my own muscle girl..and damn, they were so hard to find back then. Watching my sister build up her arms like she did was so frustrating. Why can't I find myself a girl like her 😭. Many years later I found several. My mother and society way back then frowned on females having muscle...like muscles only belonged on men. At least I set my sister straight. She became so very proud of her muscular arms...and she always thanked me for my compliments and giving her confidence.

I think it was the episode of Sledge Hammer! with the female bodybuilders. I must've been seven or eight. At some point, I also saw the Iron Eagle sequel with Rachel McLish, and I thought she was smokin'. Leaner women with defined abdominals (like Demi Moore in Striptease) were relatively more common than the massive women who permeate this site. I like both.

In ninth grade, there was a less-than-five-foot tall girl named Marie. It turns out she was a former hard-core gymnast. One day the teacher/coach made some dismissive comment about her, and she flexed her bicep. I sat right behind her, so I could see it swell into a ball while also watching the teacher's jaw drop. Also in high school, there was a girl named Amy who played tennis. She had sinewy arms, shapely arms. She ran for student government, and at some point flexed, which I missed. A friend of mine remarked, "Man she has guns!" I didn't know why he was surprised. Another girl, even more conventionally attractive, started lifting weights (around '98-'99). Everyone recognized her rockin' bod, but one time in English she flexed, and her bicep peaked. Her arm was probably no more than 12 inches, so nothing remarkable for this site, but a unicorn sighting for me in those days.

I remember a time when I wasnt too much into my fetish as I had a girlfriend, so my urges were satisfied in some way. But of course any fit or muscular girl was very noticible for me.I wasnt that much into medium or hardcore fbb's at that time (like, fit body but not super muscular).

Well, my girlfriend had a female friend that was kind of a tom-boy, a circus atlethe freak, and she has very defined biceps (ball shaped) and a toned body.

We were at a party and some guy joked about her "hey, you should tatoo an ancle at your shoulder", when she was asked to flex. I couldnt look, I mean, I wanted to look with all my heart, but I was afraid of being to evident about my admiration and desire. I wanted to say something, but I just giggled like anybody else.

I was too scared to "make a move", or anything like that, like I wouldnt get her and loose my girl. But of course if I took back time...

Funny thing, some time later she was doing a circus show with another tom-boy girl, circus freak (they lift each other and perform some atlethic stuff), and this other girl was even more muscular, with toned abs, great back. And they were truly muscular and strong, they got their muscles from performing their act, so really natural.

I couldnt attempt to leave or cheat my girlfriend for this girl either! But it's ok I guess.

During late 90's - early 00's I discovered WWF, SmackDown and RAW. I admired Trish Stratus, Jackie Gayda etc. but was not quite hooked yet. I remember that I payed lot of attention over Jackie Gayda's abs. Little later maybe 2004 or 2005 I came across pictures and videos of young (same age than I am) fitness model Moorea Wolfe and there was no going back after her. I spend lots of time with her vids and pics. After that I discovered Erica Cordie.

Oh geez, Moorea Wolfe! That brings back some memories. I followed her from early on and was sad when she dropped off. She resurfaced as an escort in Vegas but that was at least 12 years ago.

In addition to my very many visits to strip bars, I occasionally found very sexy and defined women working in supermarkets and convenience stores. Some years ago, I found a great looking gal in a local Acme called Allyson. She was 50-ish but very lean with totally tight and defined arms. A great looking gal and I got to converse with her outside in the smoking area a couple times, but never developed the courage to ask her to flex. She eventually moved away. Later on, I met a woman who looked very much like her at another Acme supermarket near me. Her name was Kathi, and she had a gorgeous, tight and lean little body. She too was a smoker--seems like a number of women of this physical type smoke to stay lean. She'd always be very friendly, and I'd always love talking with her or even going through her line when she was running a register, but never got the right circumstances to ask her to flex. The last such woman worked in a local Wawa convenience store. Her name was Chris, short for Christine. She was tall and lean, had a bit of a belly from having a child, but was basically lean, with lean legs and butt and very strong looking, including very lean, and almost muscular arms, easily the size of mine. She was relatively shy and quiet, would always be polite, and a couple times even opened up a bit and talked about her life and how she'd been single for many years. I always thought it would have been great fun to armwrestle her--I am pretty sure she would have been my equal. Getting her to flex would have been fantastic, though I have no way of knowing whether or not she would have been into that. She also smoked, yet looked healthy and almost as if she might have worked out. Not the typical middle-aged woman you see on the street, that's for sure.

I can't seem to quite remember exactly what.. but I think it was when I saw one of those infomercials for some exercise equipment or somesuch, and a fit woman was advertising it.. damn she was smoking hot when I was like, 13 or whatever. Then old episodes of Bodyshaping would be on TV, and Kiana Tom and some other hot fitness babe would do their routine (I swear the camera men knew what they were doing sometimes!)

Then as an early teen, and I learned how to use the internets, and old sites like.. I think it was called boomerflex at the time, exposed me to a lot. Learned a valuable lesson on erasing search history, but even my dad seemed into it lol. Anyway, one woman in particular REALLY got my jollies on, being the first one I ever really caught my attention to. I'd drop a name, but.. she posts here regularly and I don't want to sound like a creep if she happens to read these forums, and sees her name and "cranking out as a horny teen" in the same sentence.

Popeye's Never Kick A Woman got me at age 4 or so and then it evolved from there into thinking about strong girls at school. I was about 11 in 1976 range when I saw Wrestling Revue and found this other subculture and that it was not just me into muscle girls and fighting. I then hunted for pics and information as best I could until WPW and the rest came along in the mid and later 80's when I was in college. It is amazing how much the sport and women in general have changed. I always loved the muscle and the fighting.....which is why I think Never Kick A Woman was such a big factor. I know it was.

I remember how much I always worked to get "material"... in the late ninities I tried to record evything I could from TV, shows with hot models, bikini competition, fashion shows, Sport Illustrated calendar photo shoot, Comic shows with barely naked girls.

But, related to the topic, I always remember when in a movie making clip they presented a "body double" of some actress. Instead of showing actress ass, they filmed body double. This female lead was kind of beautiful, but I found her body double to be astonishing. Her body was all worked out, no ripped muscles but perfect definition and skin t one. Like I always discovered that women that worked out was always so hot.

tbh I think it was a WBF mens contest that got the interest (I was 7 maybe) but Wonder Woman on tv and womens comps on Eurosport sealed the deal. Musclemag and Flex mags followed just for the ladies bits (i would leaf in the shop first to make sure there was something) then the internet!

It got a bunch of men who grew up from the 50's into the 80's and maybe 90's when much more material was accessible. The Yahoo club we had on the cartoon had thousands of members....mostly interested from that one cartoon which was the most popular Popeye episode in terms of viewers on youtube for a long time.

Here is the scene where she knocked Olive Oyl out.She looked over at Popeye who was just as pleased as the blonde stranger who knew Olive only as "skinny".... which she called her before their random fight.... when Olive and Popeye strolled into her sporting goods store.

This one was very common at one time LPC....as a hook. I recall it from age 4...being stimulated by it in some way.

@zig......love April’s Muscles......

Me too. I loved watching her clobber Olive and in my mind I had a different ending with no spinach for Olive and round 2 being time for April to put an end to her once and for all. I wish they had done a modern version. I suppose there is always a chance.

@zig ......who would play April......Gina Davis ???

Jan 22, 2021 - permalink

@LPC Gina Davis as April would be amazing considering she could box and was 5-5 and 220 off season at her biggest. She would murder an Olive Oyl type. The beating would be severe if it was Gina. She would be perfect.

Doughdee Marie going back would have been excellent as well. She had the acting skills and boxing...and did a very good Mae West imitation in one of her videos. She would have made a great April.

Here is a pic of Gina in her catfight boxing club t shirt. Love it. Gina would kill in the April role...literally.

Gina is such a Woman .....and the best part is she can fight

Jan 22, 2021 - permalink

We were told that the name April North was for that character by a former Fleischer Studios employee who said they planned to do more April but the censors killed her. I assume the name came from there, though there may be more to it. We were calling her Blondie for awhile until that gentleman came along.

Yes...Gina can fight

My earliest memory was from reading an old Wonder Woman comic when I was a little boy. In one panel Wonder Woman was pulling an iceberg with her lasso, and the artist drew her in that panel as bulging with ripped muscles, muscles quivering, and dripping with sweat. My little boy brain just about fried and that was that. Afterwards when I read other comics I would notice how female supers were sometimes draw with very low bodyfat, shredded, and muscular and that kept me going. It wasn't long after that I ran into my first female bodybuilding magazine and I was hooked! To this day I think that first Wonder Woman panel made the most impact, because I'm still super turned on by ripped women working out with crazy effort and intensity.
