Shanon Courtney could easily have been the greatest female bodybuilder of all time, if she competed seriously she would have destroyed everyone in the Olympia.

She had genetics that you see only once or twice in a generation

This was my feeling when I first saw her. If you go back, her notes from her figure AND wpd shows were that she was too muscular (today her WPD look wouldn't have been big enough). THe jump to BB was so easy for her but the whole BB division collapsed and that was when they announced no WBB at the Olympia, so she quit. I think she wrote a post about i but I asked separately and she just felt like she was at a point where she was lifting and competing for others and not herself anymore which is when she got into crossfit and racing.

world class legs, chest, delts, arms, back. she had it all. and she's insanely pretty/feminine

Georgina McConnell is my personal favorite who quit bodybuilding. She had a great look and everything. More than likely social and family pressures forced her to quit.

100%. So bummed she gave up. I think 90% of the time with the younger ones it is boyfriend leaves them situations

Does anyone know if she cared about the sides? I feel like she was over the unwanted internet fame and probably also wanted normal consideration from people in her life who were otherwise turned off by the fact she was a bodybuilder

Usually with steroids and HGH there's negative side effects unfortunately, especially for female bodybuilders. Side effects basically includes damage eggs (which women need to get pregnant), deep voice, facial hair and more damages to the female body. Stopping early was the right call because I looked her up on Facebook 2 years ago and she's definitely back to being a girly girl. No more FBB Georgina McConnell. She got married apparently and had a baby. Also she has a pair of nice tits. No evidence of her ever being an FBB. But looks like that's her life now.

Lots of fake pressure on young athletes to roid early to be successful fast and so many of them flake out and return to a normal lifestyle

Women to me personally is that if they want children they should have them as soon as possible because hardcore bodybuilding entails a lot of pressure to take this and that. The bodybuilding industry unfortunately is not that kind and compassionate towards women as they do men because again there is pressure for women to get big and get noticed. Ultimately in the end destroying their bodies on the inside due to taking steroids and HGH. Steroids and HGH are more advanced these days then ever, plus more destructive to the body when it's not taken properly.

Simone Ruhl, she said she got afraid when she saw how quick she was growing. Probably she got strong side effects. I saw her in a video training with Markus Ruhl from recently. She looks healthy and happy, luckily.

I saw Simone vids from the past and yes she was big. She looked great. But more power to her if she wants to be more healthy and happy.

There are too many young flameouts who roid it up and disappear as quickly and they emerged. Slow and steady wins the race

Agreed. As a personal trainer I always suggest that women who want to become bodybuilders should go without steroids until they reach they apex naturally. After that it's their choice if they want use steroids and HGH to get big.

BB is def a sport of longevity and unless you’re a genetic freak you won’t win early. So many girls with genetically poor bodies jumping on gear fast for faster results and this is the result

Agreed as well. As a personal trainer I've trained many women to go into bodybuilding but many women, me and my wife have trained, have genetically poor bodies to put muscle mass but we do our best to get them their desired body. Steroids and HGH are basically a cheat door to get big fast. My view is for women to get big as naturally as they can and after its up to them if they want to take the next step in taking steroids and HGH.

Michaela had 17”+ arms at her biggest, and even off season she was never “heavy looking”

She’s only 5’0”. Idk anyone like that
