at95 I agree, at least to a degree, but I would not be so rude and insulting to call any of these women bitches, whether muscle bitches or otherwise(and not just because they could possibly do serious damage to me if I did call them that but simply because it is rude and insulting to call them bitches).
@VII I can't argue with that. Most of the current top female bodybuilders have decades of competition experience under their belts. In other words, a lot of them are in their 40's and older, which doesn't make them unattractive, but there's hardly any new blood to add some appeal to the division. It's the same faces every year. To think, Alina Popa and Helle were amateur competitors around the time this contest happened.
@unicorn that’s a good point. Most of the top bodybuilders in the 1990s or 2000 were in their 20s or 30s. Nowadays, as you said, they’re in their 40s. Just for me but wearing a wig is a bit weird. And you see so much roided faces. But it seems that these women are the last ones who truly love bodybuilding. Most girls in our generation are in the other classes like physique or figure.
@VII A lot of young blood back then and by the thousands too. So many women competed in bodybuilding before the IFBB/NPC campaigned to deter them from the division. It was nearly impossible to have just one favorite with so many to choose from. To be fair, Laura Creavalle wore wigs. I've chatted with her several times and she said she always wore a wig or had braids (extensions). She laughs about those moments, but she was hot back then. Virginia Sanchez (purposely shaves her head), Iris Kyle, and a few others wear them, but for different reasons. The vets truly are the last of passionate hardcore bodybuilder's.
Look out for newcomer Alexis Castro. She's impressive (beautiful/big/strong/smart) and passionate about the sport. Alexis is her own trainer, coach and nutritionist, but is considering a coach (different perspective) for 2020. Her favorite pose is the most muscular and she wants to develop her body in a way that'll make it look more outstanding than it currently does. https://www.girlswithmuscle.com/images/?name...
Years and years in the gym to build all that muscle millimeter by millimeter and in a brief moment all that muscle gets pushed right to the limit, muscle vs muscle, size and shape vs size and shape, no style points, nothing held back, muscles shaking and quivering under the strain, yes incredible. Kim Chizevsky just forces her body right in the judges faces and makes all the other women stand behind her. Alpha woman taking charge on a stage full of Alpha women.
