very very nice! hard and big! haha
Great find. This girl is beautiful. I can only hope we get to see her legs at some point! Keep up the great work Anna--we're rooting for the Bulldogs!
I have looked at the squad roster and didn't see her. Would like to know her real name to find more pics of her!
No wonder Georgia has such a great defense this season.
The other pic of her is great, but this one is better. I love how she's looking at her biceps and almost admiring how big they are and how great they look.
Damn i bet she take 80% of us down at armwrestling.
How could this not be a 10? She is drop dead gorgous. We need more pics of her. And her real name is Anna Watson I sent her a friend request on facebook.
It was inevitable....a Bulldog bandwagon, all because of Anna's arms. Ya gotta love it!
Now I got another reason to love football, she is beautiful
Wow, real powerful! More girls should look like her.
Some of these Anna pics will probably establish all-time records for responses here. The first one posted already has over 100 comments in a matter of just a few days! Anna is what most of us dreamed of. A beautiful high school or college cheerleader with gorgeous muscular arms!
@luvembuff She's a college cheerleader. That "G" is the UGA logo.
It seems to me like Anna's pics have caused a similar phenomenon that Erica Cordie's first pics did. It's because both of these girls came weren't photographed in a gym, on stage or at a photoshoot. Instead they were in their natural element. Erica was the "buff waitress" and now Anna is the "buff cheerleader". Mentally it factors in the brain bc it's like she's a chick that you could conceivably meet anywhere.
Some of the coolest pics I've ever seen. Awesome arms. Darn it, no legs yet.. She has got to have pretty legs.
yea i think she does... theres another pic of her running with the squad. u couldn't see much, but they looked tight from what i could tell
Yea could see them a little bit, but what I noticed the most were her shoulders. wow!!!
Roaddogg...excellent comparison you did with Anna here and the wonderful Erica Cordie. This type of female muscle puts them in a place where any of us could encounter them. Erica in a lounge/club and maybe Anna at a sporting event. Both of the women are very beautiful, very feminine and very muscular! Life is good ;-)
yea def nice athletic, wide, set of shoulders
Dynamic arms! How about a leg shot for K..she's dying to see them! :)
She should get a photo shoot and start a website!
A cheerleader with big guns! Wow she could throw me for a couple sumersaults :)!!!
The guy with the squashed head looks mightily impressed
lol he does
Look at the black girl at the far right in the stands leaning over with her mouth open!
yea as much as society like to deny it, a lot of people like this look. i think more people like it than don't, people just don't talk about it or admit to it
Are those real?
please post more photos of anna watson!!!
She is awesome isn't she?!
she is huge
How huge is she?
Anna's got a major future in the fitness industry if she stays committed. :)
strongest cheerleader ever! Wish she gets rid of that G logo on her cheek.
Thats an incredible pair of Bis... i see why u like her kristi. Like u im a leg person but those are pretty amazing. Dont ya just love cheerleaders.
That's what I call "natural muscle girl". Her two bicep flex pictures are the best pictures on this site so far...
Yea she needs an "A" on her cheek sam... :)
She's strong as Drew Barrymore!
Drew Barrymore is fit but not as strong as Anna. No way.
looks like she has been using the bfs weights - GOOD JOB
Maybe someone took some more pics of her at the SEC game also. Flexing with tight sleeves would be good also.
I'm sure they will be posted on the GA site soon if they did.
Oh my god! Superstar! Flex your muscles, flex!
Playboy needs to speak to her..........NOW
It's not really stupid, it's a college football game, its very popular for many college sports fans to have your team logo like that. My niece did it tonight, coincidently at a Georgia / Alabama Gymnastics meet. Roll Tide, bama won.. barely.
Anna in an article:
I'm impressed at her loyalty and integrity, it would be cool to see her use her muscle though.
Is that the article wherein she recently passed up a $75 K fitness company contract? Yes, that's real integrity, especially for a college student. I'm sure that there'll much better things in store for her in the future if she has that singlemindedness.
just saw that as well iceman and very nice story about her. i agree with you and would be really nice to see her use and gain more muscle. but i really do admire her integrity and staying true to herself. plus she has some impressive numbers: bench press of 155, squat of 255 & dead lift of 230. Got to love Anna a lot.
Somebody needs to tell us how much she curls.
Quite a lot?
"Quite a lot" wouldn't tell us very much.
according to one of the articles about her, 35lb dumbbells for reps.....
I was checking out her lifting stats! she's really strong! I'll bet she just tosses those other cheer leaders around during half time with those arms!
and yes, very pretty girl with an incredibly strong body!
I love it when an artist admires her work.
Can she lift an elephant?
And to think she is 5'10" How awesome is that
so I take it she is the head cheerleader, or at the least the strength coach for the football team!
Is it just me or do her arms look bigger at http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/training-day... than they do above?
Same picture, but they've squeezed the perspective to make her arms really pop.
Yea they did
Those are really well developed muscles for a young 19-year old girl! looking really amazing!!
I'd say those are some of the best arms I've seen on this site!
I went to Lee College in Cleveland, TN. The cheerleaders there looked like Sleestaks.
lol... yea i remember being at college basketball game and the cheerleaders were THICK, like muscular offseason thick. i think i watched them more than the game lol
I want to voice my love and support for girls who have "the balls" and courage to rise against the joint forces of oppressive culture and greedy nature – and choose radical growth by radical means.
At the opposite end, many cultures to this day consider female sex drive a medical defect that requires amputation (keyword: female circumcision). It is time that women reclaim their potency and anabolism because... evolved men need evolved women :-).
Hypermuscular girls are my boyhood years' fantasy come true. It is a "science fiction" which has seamlessly morphed into a "science fact" during my lifetime. Who is mad NOW? :-).
Thanks to these girls – paraphrasing Arnold Schwarzenegger from ''Pumping iron'' - I'm in heaven! (Or at least heaven has arrived within my physical reach.) Therefore I consider them angels on Earth. They don't need to be fault-free for that role! :-)
medical defect? o my, no more comment from me.
Oh I kinda had an idea of where you were going, I agree with what you are saying. I was just thinking a bit to myself I hope I'm never around any of those you refer to.
I don't buy her saying that God forbids her taking steroids. You simply cannot get that big without enhancements.
@darth, shes not that big. In her other pics with her fellow cheerleaders, shes just more cut or toned. Shes actually on the thinner side, unflexed.
Well Lord, good job, give me a five!
What does her boyfreind say?
@luv fem muscle: Exactly. Alot of ppl are saying alot of things and seeing things in her based on overzealous presumptions about women's physiques and their limitations. And the funny thing is that in the last few years the "limit" for women's potential has grown smaller and smaller seemingly every year. Pretty soon there won't be an Olympic women athlete that will be free from scrutiny. Everyone will see "sign's" of steroid abuse in everything. A girl like Alicia Sacramone will be accused of juicing.
I knew a swimmer in hig school with defined arms which peaked pretty freakishly when she flexed but she wasn't huge at all, or even very big. The size of your bicep peak is determined by genetics and how your muscles are shaped. There are gearheads who are over 250lbs who don't have peaks at all and no matter how much they shoot up, that won't change bc their tendons are too short.
The funny thing is that most of the ppl who make these comments know jack shit about what steroids are and what they actually do. They know even less about how to build muscle and what goes into it for both men and women. Muscle isn't a masculine trait except by how it's percieved by society. Otherwise more men in our society would have it. It's definitely easier for men but not impossible for women. There's alot more to building muscle than simple testosterone levels. Can steroids help that or enable a person to exceed natural limits? Yes, but where we place those natural limits on women in mainstream society is a bit below what it actually is.
@roaddogg, I agree 100%. Very well put!
Nobody corrected me when I wrote "Palaeolithic" instead of "Neolithic" ;-P.
@kristifigure: I hope that you are surrounded with people who love what you love only!
@DarthWade: Her boyfriend probably says: "Oh well, she is muscular but she's not all that bad. Love isn't all about body."
@RoadDogg: "There are gearheads who are over 250lbs who don't have peaks at all and no matter how much they shoot up, that won't change bc their tendons are too short." Quotable!
Isn't it the opposite though? I.e. high peak = short tendons + long belly?
@avaecorant: I'm not sure what you mean by that, as I don't think you ever got what I meant by my response anyway. I was not in any means trying to get as deep as everyone else is getting here. If everyone around you was just like you, what fun would that be? :)
Fun is overrated... I will trade it for fulfillment any time :-P.
Jokes aside, I can't see much fun in haters (however benign) from all paths of life instinctively banding together with a cumulative effect of incapacitating your attainment of dreams. This species is not threatened by extinction any soon – genuine muscle lovers are a minority. Not only that – after a peak related to female "steroid enlightenment" of the 1990s, they're a minority back on decline. Sure, you can find plenty of superficially polite people who affirm muscular women by the way of curiosity, even to the point of declaring love for them IN SPITE of their muscles... but I don't think that the role of a circus oddity on a par with the elephant-man is the 'raison d'être' of female bodybuilding.
Ironically, many women of muscle may themselves contribute to their alienation by snubbing on their fans, denying self-identification with female muscle* and preferring company of people indifferent about it. They haven't risen to the role of a muscle angel.
On the opposite end of spectrum, I know cases of women who have emigrated from their land, leaving everything behind, for their anabolic dream alone. I don't know any such women in person though :-(.
I'm sure that even somebody as totally feminine as you hasn't managed to avoid negative attention from people, related to your muscles, completely.
That is, unless you live in some mythical muscleville, isolated from the "normal" society. Now that would be MY idea of fun! :-P.
*) Denying self-identification with female muscle:
"Despite being somewhat of a cult hero for her large muscles, [Anna] Watson says that's not really who she is. 'I know that my identity is not in working out,' Watson said. 'It's not who I am. It's not what I want people to see me as. Yes, on the outside, I'm a very fit individual, but when you get to know me, my life is not all about exercise and working out.'"
I do think that womens athletics in general has seen a bit of a social pushback partly due to the steroid controversies in mens sport in the last decade as well as a few female notables like Marion Jones and Cris Cyborg. It plays well to society in general who disapproved of women moving into more self sufficient roles in society.
It also plays well to a society where there is a natural intimidation factor related to fit ppl in general. How many ppl have u known who avoid gyms bc of the fit ppl who tend to inhabit them? It almost gotten to the point where many ppl look at fitness as more of a detriment rather than a virtue. Look at Hope Solo's experience on DWTS. She was called unfeminine and many women denigrated her for reacting badly to that but they cannot understand what a dedicated female athlete has to put up with every day.
Now look at society right now. So many ppl struggling for happiness and one thing that all fit women have in common is that they're free in a way that many women aren't. They didn't ask society's permission to look the way they do. They don't worry about how big their asses are or if they fit in a certain dress. They're fit and they always will be in the shape they want to be bc they're not afraid of the pain or commitment it takes to work for it. It makes a lot of ppl mad that a girl could have what they don't have so its easier to hate on them.
Look at Rick Santorum who doesn't even believe that women should work outside the home. Or even the debate about women in the front lines. Now I served myself and I agree that a woman who wants to do this should have to complete a mens PFT. Annie Sakamoto could get a 300 in a mens USMC PFT in her sleep. But I also know that many of those who demand this won't be satisfied by it, especially if their own scores pale in comparison. They'll immediately insist that the girl is either "on something" or a lesbian. This is the only way to set right in their minds being outperformed by a girl. Rather than challenge themselves to raise their bown level, they'll insist that she lowers hers.
Anyways sorry for the rant. I'm at work at my desk and I'm bored. Peace.
I do think that the decline in womens fitness is being offset to a certain extent by the onset of the extreme fitness movements such as Crossfit, Warrior Run, P90X and other such activities. I like the slogan "strong is the new sexy". Annie Thorisdottir seems to be in the process of being positively received, but its mainly fitness junkies who are really into it, but its shown on ESPN, and her commercial with Ochocinco is a bit of a hit. I think that ESPN's abandonment of fitness along with BBing aided the decline in perception of women in fitness. Its sad bc, as opposed to FBB, womens fitness and aerobics competitions had seen a huge surge in popularity as the cleaner alternative. Ppl liked how they looked and began to appreciate the talents of these women. Unfortunately absense has not made hearts fonder as today, even the fitness physique will find a woman under a constant judgemental cloud.
Conversely their current embrace of Crossfit and some of its female superstars is helping to slowly welcome fit women back into the zeitgeist. It also helps when you've got beautiful fit women like Hope Solo and Alicia Sacramone gracing the ESPN body issue, which hopefully replace the SI swimsuit model as the choice physique. ESPN has incredible pull in all of this. As lomg as they're on the side of fit women with impressive physiques and positive work ethics, then opinions will move with it. But its when they turn away from it as they did with women's fitness that the decline steepens.
@luv fem muscle - thanks
@avaecorant. - on your last point, even Serena Williams did this when she revealed a dislike for training.
@Roaddogg: Did you get any actual work done during this "rant"? lol I guess you were bored. Anyway, good job here.
I can see this thread getting locked very soon if all these hyped up comments carry on... personally ill be glad cos i can get back to looking at a beautiful woman ...just enjoy guys and take a chill pill :)
No disrespect intended, but I disagree with that a bit. So long as posts remain civil and respectful of the women displayed here, which is a stated rule of the site, it's ok to have a topical discussion especially in light of Anna's situation. I also think it's important to show some support for these women as people while still admiring their aesthitic appeal. There's always time to admire the pics but sometimes it's ok to do more than simply throw up compliments on a nice looking bodypart. ;)
What, no more love for Anna out there?
Yes, the central committee has announced the end of it.
"I was just thinking a bit to myself I hope I'm never around any of those you refer to." – @kristifigure
Well... they are nearer than you may think!
Keep user @Lassitude on the radar. While she has never spoken in favour of clitoridectomy, she bemoans clitoral development (courtesy of testosterone) and is a staunch defender of what I call the old-fashioned "female eunuch" ideal of femininity.
It confirms my thesis that you are living a sheltered life if it takes the Internet for you to meet "body haters".
In fact, they are the majority.
Our current female muscle rennaissance may be a historical anomaly, limited to this brief episode at the turn of the second and the third millennium, rather than a new norm. (Just like the liberal society itself.) The peak interest in female muscle is already a point in the past. The schmoe and his lady are under an overwhelming siege.
I wonder if she flexes at all home football and
I am in love with her round biceps!
What's she doingh now?
My eyes are still unfortunately drawn toward the pervert
ok now really.. why is he a pervert?? :)
Probably because I want to stand where he is...
lol. i just mean why does that make him a pervert I guess. I don't see anything wrong with it anyway..
Who is the next/current Anna Watson? Please tell me she wasn't a one off.
There are many cheerleaders with great bodies, it's a very hard sport, so most that are serious about it are in great shape. Anna was above and beyond though because she took it to the next level with serious weight lifting. Just about every division 1 college cheerleading squad would have what yall would call a 'muscular' cheerleader, at least one. But to stand out as much as Anna did....takes a little research. I bet there is another.
I watch a lot of college football because I love it and I can vouch for what Kristi stated. I've caught many muscular cheerleaders on the TV. I haven't been able to DVR them and research because my wife would be all over that :-(
I wonder what happened to her. Did she ditch cheerleading to become a full-on bible thumper? Shame if so.
Well unfortunately cheerleading ends for most once you graduate college and she did. Uncertain what she did after this, I just know she refused to take steroids for a fitness modeling contract. So good for her in that case. Although I never understood why she would have needed it.
You'll occasionally even come across a muscular high school cheerleader.
even a gymnast or two. :)
Among other vixens I suppose.
