Ulcerative colitis took a lot from me, but has given me so much more.
UC took years of my life away from me. It took away school, gymnastics, friends, social events, holidays with family, and so much more. It was the source of sadness, depression, anxiety and a whole lot of pain. It was the reason for many many weeks spent in the hospital, and 2 invasive surgeries separated by 8 weeks with an ostomy bag.
But what did UC give me?? UC gave me strength and courage. It gave me a strong relationship with my parents, that I am certain will never fade. It lead me to my passion for health and fitness. It gave me an avenue to help, educate, motivate, and inspire others! It gave me a whole new appreciation for life, and what it's truly about.
UC gave me the life I have today.
Do I still struggle?? YES!! I've had set backs and scares. I will have to live with some things for the rest of my life because of this disease. But that is okay!
Life is all about experiencing, learning, and growing. Not all experiences are going to be fun. Many will be downright awful! But I promise you, no matter what it is, there is something GOOD to take away from it. ❤"
Perfect body of a goddess.
If she has UC, most likely she is not using PEDs to build muscle. It goes to show that you can be buff and beautiful and natural.
Excellent decision, Kacey.
